Hi. It's the holiday weekend. Hope everyone can get out and enjoy the beautiful weather.

This stamp is from Stamp Camp. Bought at the Stamp Show locally last weekend. The Artist was there and she has many beautiful designs. I chose several of them, so in the next few weeks I will be uploading cards using those designs.

The background paper is s.e.i Black Orchid stack. It is beautiful paper! The little faceted self-stick black stones are from Michael's in the $ 1.00 section!
The saying is from Whipper Snapper Designs (what a great saying!)

Have a nice Sunday and a great last summer holiday.

Another wonderful stamp from Rubber Cottage, Medina, Ohio. Background paper is by Daisyd. Stamped and colored, used the blow pens for dots, then chalked the background.

We had a wonderful week of cooler temps, now it is supposed to heat up again. But, it is late August, and soon we will be complaining about the cold.

Same stamp different background

Hello. This is the same stamp by Impression Obsession that I posted a couple of days ago done on black. I used chalks and gel pens to complete this card. I really like it on black.....very dramatic. Have a great Thursday.

This picture is for the gals at Stamp Club. We will making the three items in the picture on Wednesday the 3rd. Pam has mailed you the list of supplies to bring and I wanted you to be able to see what we are making. See you Wednesday, ladies.

Good morning. Another great stamp from the stamp show this past weekend. This is a Rubber Cottage stamp from our friends in Medina, Ohio. When we attended the Adventures in Stamping Convention in Ohio for years, they had the nicest little stamp store in Medina and we always stopped in to shop. Now they have closed the store and they are on the road, going to stamp conventions and shows. Thankfully, we can still enjoy their great stamps, including the one above.

The little guy pulling his dog in the wagon is as I said from Rubber Cottage. Background paper is from Nana's Kids. Stamped and embossed in black and colored with Tombow Markers. Saying is from Rubber Stampede. Stars are cut from a sizzix die and run through the wood grain cuddlebug folder, and distressed with distress ink.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

It's Tuesday already. Yesterday we had a visit from two of my husband's girl cousins. Haven't seen them in a long time, so was so nice to have time to visit and catch up. Life goes by each day so quickly, we sometimes forget how nice it is to slow down and just relax with old friends and long lost relatives. We made a pack to get together four times a year...........let's see if we can do it!

Today's card is such a pretty flower. I bought it this past weekend at the show and it is by Impression Obsession. The booth had a board done up with cards from IO and this stamp was on the board and I just loved it. It came out really nice, I am going to do it on black with chalks soon.
Until later.

Hello. Have not blogged for a couple of days. Attended the Stamp, Scrap and Art Show at the Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday. It was small, but managed to buy a lot of stamps and other supplies and spend all my money and then some.

I'm excited to use my new things and post new cards, so hopefully in the coming week I will be able to get some serious stamping time and get them posted here.

My 10 year old granddaughter, Megan attended the Stamp Show along with my daughter and I and had a great time, she also spent all her money on Hanna Stamp sets and did some make and takes. I think she is hooked!! (That's my girl!)

Late this afternoon we had pouring down rain for about an hour. The dog was hiding under everything, because she hates the thunder and lightning. And the pond was full to the top.

The card I posted today is a cuddlebug background. The stamp on the oval is from Penney Black (don't they look like they match perfectly?) Butterfly was stamped on designer paper and cut out.

Make a Wish

I'm off work until the day after Labor Day....Yeah!

This is another Thomas Kinkade. Took me forever to complete this one, background is very vague on the stamp. I wanted to do something with the fibers, as the colors tied in so well to all the flowers, but couldn't get it just right until I made this droopy pompom. I love how it turned out and it adds extra color to the corner of the card. Hope you like it too.

First, I want to say Hi to my dear friend, Clara in Austin, Texas. Hey Missy thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a great message, come back often!

I have posted the Indian girl with the wolf today. This is an old stamp image from Arizona Stamps Too, no longer in business. I actually won this stamp on an auction on E-bay, not that long ago. I have a collection of their stamps with wolves, buffalo, and American Indian images that I love. I also LOVE the saying!

Tomorrow is my last day of work for a week. We have taken our last week of vacation for the year to do some work around the house. Saturday is the Stamp Convention at the Fair Grounds........maybe I will see you there.

The Girls

Are you addicted to the Olympics? We have been watching during prime time and all weekend too. Very exciting.

This is a card that has been in my head for several days and finally had time to get it on paper. It is the three images that have been released by Cornish Heritage Farms from the Sandra Kuck collection. They are all such beautiful stamps that I thought it would be fun to make a card showcasing each of them. I like how it turned out, hope you do to.

Stamped images onto medium scallop punchout on glossy paper with black dye ink
Colored with tombow and copic markers
Mounted onto striped embossed white cardstock punched out of large scallop
Card is flowered white embossed cardstock
pink flowers are punched out with flower punch and circle punch

Happy 2nd Birthday

It's Sunday already. Had a good time at the fair. Weather held off and had the usual goodies that you go to the fair to have once a year.

Today's card is a 2nd birthday card for a dear little one's birthday coming up soon. The bear is from House Mouse designs new "Gruffies". The party hat trim is a punch from EK. The words are from Darcie's.

Enjoy the rest of you day........see you Monday.

Good morning! This is a fun shadow box card made from orange bazzill textured card stock. The little girl with the flower is Whipper Snapper Designs, the bird is Inkadinkado, the sun is Magenta. The word bloom is an alphabet set from Sizzix. Off to a day at the fair today. Hope the rain holds off until later. So much rain lately, was hard to pick a day to go that didn't have the threat of rain. Can always duck into the buildings and shop.

Isn't she lovely?

This is a beautiful image by Stamper's Anonymous. I stamped her on black card stock with clear embossing ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder. I sat and cut her out then mounted her onto designer cardstock. The card was embossed in the same way with a large harlequin background stamp. Added the hearts and flowers for embellishments. Finally some rhinestones for bling! I did another card with this same stamp in brown ink, will put that one on here soon. Off from work tomorrow.........yahoo!

This is a quick card. The stamp is Stampendous-Ruffled Butterfly. The designer paper is from Disney (tinkerbell). The Large circle scallop is from a punch and I glittered the edges. Butterfly was stamped on colored vellum with black versifine, then embossed with clear embossing powder. Cut it out and folded in half so he sticks out. Put together on a kelly green textured card made from Bazzill cardstock.
Going to the fair on Friday with my sister. Our annual trek! Hope the weather is good, although I am loving the lower humidity.

Had major trouble with my online connection yesterday, so was off line more than on. This is the latest release in the Sandra Kuck line at Cornish Heritage Farms, called the prayer. This is such a sweet stamp, and not as hard to color as some of the others. Hope you enjoy. The designer cardstock is Nana's Nursery - girls - got it at JoAnns. It was a cool 69 degrees today. LOVED IT!

This is my favorite Sandra Kuck release, so far. Aren't these two little ones adorable?

Welcome

Hello. Today is the first day of my blog. It's so exciting. In the days ahead I will be sharing Rubber Stamping tips and treasures with you.

Right now I am really into Cornish Heritage Farms', Thomas Kinkade and Sandra Kuck
designs. I love to color, and these stamps beg to be colored in.
