LADY

Hi. Finally Friday! Going to warm up considerably this weekend, but some rain in the forecast. Need to get out into the yard and do some cleanup.

Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC51).
The stamp is from Her Majesty Rubber Stamps. I purchased this one last week at my LSS.
I colored her with Copics. Distressed the background. Papers are a DCWV Stack, Naturals. Added a feather and some glitter to her outfit. The mirror behind her, I cut out and added mirror foil, but it picked up the colors of my shirt when I took the picture. I used crystals and silver stud embellishments. The fur on the bottom is fun flock.

Hope everyone had a great Friday. Thanks for stopping by. Until later.........

You Asked For IT!!

Overflow into the hall!! Stamps!
This is the wall across from where I sit. I purchased the Personal Stamp Exchange cabinets from a local florist that was selling PSX Stamps and decided to discontinue selling them. Neat Hunh!

This is to the left of where I sit. My original Shelf made by my Brother in law and another PSX display case. My original two cabinets.

This is the wall behind where I sit.

This is where I sit. The table is a conference room table. Yes, there is a table there someplace! The colored drawers are new Got them on sale at JoAnns, love them.

The newest cabinet and two paper cubes. The cabinet under the paper cubes holds three drawers, two with flowers and one with chip board stuff.
Another two paper cubes and the cabinet underneath holds paper. The metal cabinet next to it holds premade cards, boxes to decorate, and other "stuff"

This is the back dormer room. The four containers in the background are all Christmas stamps.
The table holds my Cricut, my paper cutter, my Sizzix and paper cuts that fit into the embossing folders.

On the back wall, two more paper cubes, the cabinet underneath them holds Christmas and fall paper. My sizzix dies are next, books on the pink cabinet, which holds ribbon in the drawers.
The bins in the foreground hold my Cricut cartridges, my embossing folders, Spellbinder dies, and more ribbon.

I'm sure you noticed there isn't much wall space or floor space. Like I tell my friends, I could lock myself in from the inside and if I lived to be 105, and stamped every day all day there would still be stuff left over! But, like Mae West said," too much of a good thing is a good thing"
Anyone want to come over and stamp???

ROSES ARE RED

Hi. Hope your Wednesday went well. Had a great visit with old friends yesterday and a nice lunch too. We used to get together once a month, but one gal got sick and is finally on the mend, so hoping we can start back to our monthly routine in the fall.
Today's card is for three challenges. Magnolia Down Under, use a charm on your card. The cute little snail I used on my card was a gift from my blogging buddy Stephanne, thanks Steph. Roses on Paper provided the sketch. And Just Magnolia, anything goes. The papers are from the My Mind's Eye, Out and About paper stack. Roses are silk flowers pulled from the stems. The little chip board bird is Maya Road. Martha Stewart border punch. The background stamp is Prickly Branches, by Stampscapes. The sentiment stamp is Cornish Heritage Farms. And of course, the darling at the center of attraction is Tilda looking back by Magnolia.
Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............

PURR-FECT FIT

Good Morning..........Happy Tuesday! The sun is shining, but it is cool here today. Only going to go up to 47 degrees.
Today's card is for the Penny Black and Friends Saturday Challenge. There is a link on the right of this blog to this challenge. Do you love this kitty using the bra for a hammock!! The saying is from an unmounted set I bought in Ohio by Rubber Cottage. The Challenge was a recipe. You needed to use three flowers, two buttons and one ribbon. The buttons are on the bra and are tiny, but they are there. I made the easel card from a DCWV stack called Linen Closet. The pink lace border punch is Martha Stewart. The cutout the kitty is on is a spellbinders die.
Have a great Tuesday, going to meet good friends for lunch.
Because of my constant whining about cleaning up my stamp room and the fitting of the new cabinet into the room, several people have emailed me for pictures. I will post a couple later today if I get a chance.
Thanks for stopping by. Until later...........

BSS-MONDAY CHALLENGE-WENDY VECCHI STYLE

Good Monday. Hope everyone had a great weekend. It's back to school for our kids this week after a week off. They weren't looking forward to it. Testing begins this week for them.
Today's card challenge is to make a card in the style of Wendy Vecchi. She has her own stamp line now, which Sharon has carried in the store since she visited last year, called Studio 490.
It reminds me of vintage or folk art kind of. I bought this stamp set last year, and had not used it yet. The flower and stem are from the set. The leaf was just cut out free hand, distressed and turned up. I embossed the flower twice and layered it using a button in the center tied with twine. The border punch with the birds is from Martha Stewart.
You don't have to have the stamp sets to try this technique. Use any flower, a swirl or flourish stamp or die cut for the stem and leaf. For more ideas, visit her web site at http://www.studio490art.blogspot.com/.
Hope you have time to try this. Thanks for visiting. Until later...........

SHOP TIL YOU DROP

Hello. Back from my short trip to Ohio for the Adventures in Stamping Show. Had a great time and got some new fun goodies. The best thing of all is I got another stamp cabinet. Because just Heidi and I went, and she has a van, I was able to bring it home with us and didn't have to pay the $ 50.00 for delivery. But, on the downside, I spent the day rearranging (again) to make it fit into my overloaded space. The cabinets are the best thing I ever bought. It has 21 17x17" drawers that come right out if you want them to and hold a double layer of stamps. They are made by a man named Dallas from Michigan. He delivers them for 50-60 dollars anywhere in the US! Here is a link to his website Custom Wood by Dallas.
Today's card is a stamp by Loralie Art Stamps. This is a new company for me, never saw them before. I bought three different ladies, will be showing them to you one at a time in the near future. The word stamp is by Inky Antics. These gals are so fun. The website is www.LoralieDesigns.com. They are deeply etched red rubber on foam cushion. Very popular at the show and they said you could order online.
Thanks for stopping by. Until later...........

GONE FISHING

Hello, hope you're having a good start to your Thursday. How cute is this little guy??This is a stamp by Flower Soft. These stamps are unmounted but come with Kling. They stamp beautifully. Very deep etched and all adorable.

I made this card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC#50). Cardstock used for the card is Graphic 45. Fish is a small punch I have had forever. Used distress ink on the edges of the main image. Sprayed with my favorite shimmer spritz. Added glitter to water.
I'm off to Ohio early tomorrow morning for the Adventures in Stamping Show, will be back posting on Sunday. Thanks for stopping by. Until later...................

IT"S A WEDDING

Hello. I'm emerging from the stamp room this morning with a card I made late last night. I finally got to a point in there that I can start to just dust and vacuum. I have moved everything, so finding things for a while should be interesting. I am totally out of room in there!!
I did go through old patterns and stuff I kept from classes I attended or taught, so there is a little less junk. I have so much "stuff"!! That being said, my daughter and I are going to take a ride on Friday and go to the Adventures in Stamping Convention in Akron, Ohio. Just going to see what's new because I sure don't "NEED" anything. There is a paper store near by that sells cardstock and every other kind of paper you can imagine for $ 1.00 to $ 1.50 A POUND!! Should be fun.

Today's card is for the Penny Black and Friends Saturday Challenge.
The challenge this week was to make something monotone using the color brown. I chose this wonderful stamp of the bunnies getting married. I colored and cut the image out. I used Stickles on parts of the image. I popped it up on a chocolate brown oval trimmed in lace. Corners are a punch by Paper Shapers. The flowers are silk flowers I pulled from the stems and stickled. Double hearts are from the Bridal Department at JoAnns. I sprayed the entire card with Sheer Shimmer Spritz, pearl, from Tsukineko. Love this stuff, it dries fast and is so pretty. Click on the picture to catch a look at it close up.

Hope you have a great Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............

BSS MONDAY CHALLENGE - THREE TAG CARD

Good Monday morning. Time again for the Monday Challenge for Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.
Today's challenge is to make a three tag card. I used oval punches to cut my tags, but you could use regular shaped tags, or any other shape you like. I stamped the flowers on the inside ovals using Penny Black Stamps. The outside ovals were punched from Basic Gray, Green at Heart paper pad. The border punch is by Martha Stewart. I made an overlay of vellum on a pink card. A white strip was added with a sentiment and I used a Krylon Gold pen on the top and bottom of the strip to match the gold embossing of the sentiment. Kaiser pearls added to finish.
Hope you get a chance to make a three tag card. Have a great Monday. Until later..........

The lattace background is a sizzix die made for Stampin Up. Flowers are by Prima. I sprayed the entire card with Sheer Shimmer Spritz by Tsukineko. I love this stuff, it dries fast and it is super sparkly!!

BSS-Monday Challenge-MAKE A TALL CARD

Hello. Welcome to another Monday Challenge for Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. Today's challenge is to make a tall card. I have used a new line of stamps that Sharon has on order and will be arriving at the store soon. If you are at all interested, please call her and pre-order, because there are a limited supply for this first order.
These are large, wood mounted rubber stamps made by Her Majesty Rubber Stamps. I have colored her with copics. The background circle is stickles. Mirror paper would look great too.
I cut it out and mounted it on black to make the color pop. The fur is done with fun flock. I did this image in other colors and they ALL turned out beautiful. The paper is by Graphic 45 and the pearls are by Kaiser. I left the card pretty simple to highlight this beautiful stamp.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great Monday.
Happy Birthday Megan, enjoy "YOUR DAY"!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN

Hi. Hope your enjoying your Sunday. It's sunny here today, which always makes everyone feel good. Today we are celebrating our Granddaughter, Megan's 12th Birthday. Her actual birthday is tomorrow, (12 on the 12th!). She was born on Easter Sunday and what a gift she has been. Happy Birthday Sweetie, Nana and Papa love you very much!
The image is a digital image from Mo Manning. I chose this one because Megan is always drawing or journaling. I colored her with Copics. I added the little black kitty to the scene because they have recently added Stormy to their family.
Have a great Sunday. Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............
