HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS MONDAY CHALLENGE # 103

Time for a new Challenge over at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  This is challenge # 103 and our talented teamie, Mary, has chosen "A Recipe Card/Project" for our challenge.

Card Recipe:

Papers - Lemon yellow card stock DCWV, DP - Sweet Stack DCWV
Stamps - House Mouse Designs
Lace border - Martha Stewart
Lace Doily sponged with Spun Sugar Distress Ink
I made a pocket on the front of my card and slipped my recipe into the pocket.

Inside - Stamp - Stampin' Up
Here is the cake recipe.
Lemon Cake
 Cake Batter:
2 large eggs
1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (20 ounce) can lemon pie filling
Icing:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups confectioners' sugar
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 13x9-inch baking pan. Set aside.
For the cake, in a large bowl combine the eggs, cake mix and pie filling using an electric mixer. Mix until well blended. Spread into the prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool thoroughly.

For the icing, in a large bowl mix the cream cheese, milk, vanilla and confectioners' sugar. Spread on the cooled cake.
Note: Lemon bars can be made using a 15x10-inch jelly-roll pan. Check doneness after 20 minutes.
Makes 12-15 servings
Enjoy

These House Mouse stamps are so cute and this card definitely has a wow factor. Love the recipe challenge. I did one at Christmas a couple of years ago. The recipients really loved getting one of my recipes to add to their collections. Have to get a House Mouse Stamp. They are too cute.
