THE DANCE

Hello.  Did you think I left town.  I can't believe I haven't blogged since last Monday.  My brother in law had major surgery to remove part of his right lung.  We stayed with my sister all day Monday during the surgery and after.  Was a long day and by the time we got home, just wanted a shower and bed.  Good news is he came through the surgery with flying colors, they are pleased with the results and progress he is making.  Today he was transferred to a rehab center to get back on his feet and return home as soon as possible.  We went back and forth everyday this week to the hospital, so no time to blog.  Tonight I just had to color something, I was having withdrawal!!!

Our Granddaughter is having her Ballet Recital tomorrow.

So, I made this card for her.  I have a small necklace with a dancer on it for her.
This is her second year on toe, but she has been dancing for about 6 or 7 years now.
Her Mom, our daughter, danced for 11 years when she was a little girl until she
graduated from High School, so we have been to many recitals and rehearsals!!
But, we are looking forward to tomorrow.

My card is an image from Phindy's Place, called The Big Girl Class.  The circle card is
made with Grand dies from Spellbinders and the Lacey die is Cheery Lynn.
The roses are Prima.

Good to be blogging again.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great Sunday and
Memorial Day Monday in the USA.  Thank a service person for their service and sacrifice, and remember those who gave their lives so we may be free.  Until later...............

Glad everything went well.
Fab card, but I think that image is from Phindys Place rather than Mo's digital pencil......

Thanks so much for stopping over to my blog, Sue. I am so far behind, I am not sure I will catch up this week. I hate missing all of my very favorite challenges, but it won't be forever. Also sending up prayers for your BIL. This is a precious card. That little dancer will just love it.

HI Sue, so glad to hear that your Brother-In=Law is doing good after surgery. That is a scary surgery to have to have. Well I have to say you are doing better than me. I managed to get that one card done last Monday and haven't made another one all week. Trying to catch up on my gardening all week. The more I do the more I think I NEED to do. Don't know if I will ever finish. I just want to get to the point where I can sit down and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Sue, What a DUH I am. I forgot to mention your adorable card you made for your grand daughter's recital tomorrow. I love the image and how you placed in in the Die. She is going to be so happy and proud of that card. It will really make her day. Enjoy your time at the recital.
