Time for a new challenge at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.

punched, colored with Copics and inserted into circles to
represent the Olympic Rings.

This is the inside of the easel card.  The image is HMUR1033 Glorious Feeling.
Embossing folder is Cuddlebug, Stars.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - CHRISTMAS IN JULY - ROCKER CARD

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.
Just could not let July get away without a Christmas card in July.
I made a Rocker card, two actually, one in traditional colors and one not-so-traditional colors.
A Rocker card actually rocks back and forth. It is simply made with a circle.
I cut this one with my Grand Caliber, but you could use a circle cutter, a plate, or
any other round form you have. This card is a chocolate brown textured card stock cut in a 7" circle.
I then used the Marianne Design scalloped circle, a smaller punched scalloped circle (Marvy), and finally a smaller punched plain circle (Marvy). All designer paper is Bo Bunny, Snowflake Collection 6x6 stack. Punched pine (Martha Stewart) and glued around the center circle.
The deer is from the Tim Holtz Collection by Sizzix (656923). So is the ticket from Tim, Stamper's Anonymous (Odds and Ends CMS 100). The swirl is cut from White glitter paper and it's
a Cheery Lynn die, but can't find the packaging, will try to find it and add it later.
a smaller punched (Marvy)
Snowflakes are two punches glued together and Kaiser Rhinestones added to the centers.
Used Vintage photo distress ink on the sentiment.

Traditional colors. Stamp is Penny Black Cling, Nature's Best (40-076) I cute the leaves out at the bottom and mounted on green card stock. Clouds are made by ripping a paper towel and using the
Ranger sponge tool to add Broken China distress ink, making quick swipes from the paper towel to the image. Added a Martha Stewart lace border, ribbon and pearls. Star Dust Stickles for the snow.
These Rocker cards are fun and there are lots of possibilities, and fit in a 5x7 envelope.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Monday.  Until later...........

Cat Nap

Hi blogging friends.  Wow, I haven't posted since last Monday, did you think I left town?

Well here is the reason I haven't been in my stamp room coloring away............

Our new puppy Keeya, has been keeping us hopping.  Very sweet, but
lots of work.  Our daily routine is take the dog out, bring the dog in times
100.  She is very bright, and has learned to sit and give us her paw, each of them, and not to eat the treat off the floor unless we say ok.  And the other things she has learned is how to chew everything in site, and not unlike a real baby, EVERYTHING goes into the mouth.  Of course, she has
absolutely stolen our hearts since coming home 14 days ago.

I finally did some DT work today and got caught up on commenting.  I made this card for the challenge at Phindy's Place # 114 Button it.  The challenge theme was to use buttons on your creation.

I love this digi, My Mom used to make Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for all the kids in all sizes.  I still have a pair of the 36 inch dolls.

Card Recipe

Digi - Phindy's Place
Paper - The Paper Studio
Frame - Spellbinder's Label 4
Heart Buttons from my stash
Tiny buttons on her dress from my stash
Tiny flowers from small punches
Ribbon - Pizzazz Aplenty
Square doily
Colored with Copic Markers

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Tomorrow is BSS Monday Idea day.  Until later.........

BSS MONDAY IDEA - File in the Middle Card

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is a File in the Middle Card.
I saw this card on Dawn Griffith's blog and she has a tutorial too.
You can find it here:
This is the outside of the card.
I used a stamp set by Rubber Cottage, called Beach Set (RC829S)
The card stock is Bazzill. The fancy die is by Spellbinders, Floral Doily Motifs (S5-041)
Colored the image with Copics and painted on DecoArt, Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Glitter Paint.
Added a small black and white gingham bow.

This is the inside. Sentiments are from the same set. Used punches
for the scalloped circles. I made the file in the middle empty. You could add
cash, a gift card, or another image inside. I left the inside plain, but as you will
see on Dawn's video, you could stamp a border around the inside.
Hope you have time to try a file in the middle card.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great Monday.  Until later................

FIRST PUPPY PICTURES

Our long wait is over, and we have finally brought our puppy home today.  Keeya made the 6 hour
trip without a hitch. Slept in my arms most of the time.  She is so funny and cute, what a sweet fury baby.  Our Grandkids came over to check her out and I took a couple of pictures.  They ran in the yard with her until they wore her out.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - SUMMER DISTRESS INKS

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

This weeks idea is using the new Summer Colors of Distress inks by Tim Holtz for Ranger.

Here are the three new colors.  They come bundled together, and are available for
a short time only.  The refill inks are also available for a limited time.

Here is what I made using these bright fun colors.
The papers used on the cards are from My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy Girl 6x6 Pad

On this card, I used the Picked Raspberry ink on the flower.
Used the Tim Holtz Alterations die, Tattered Flower Garland (657824)
White cardstock was used, then sponged with the distress ink on the edges to leave some white space.
Each layer was popped up with dots.  Leaves were sponged with the Mowed Lawn ink from the set.
After the flower was assembled, I painted it with DecoArt-Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Paint.
The oval die is Spellbinders Floral Ovals S4-356
Sparkly green ribbon.

On this card, used the Salty Ocean Distress Ink to stamp the sentiment (Hero Arts C4496)
and the flowers (Hero Arts G-4916 Elegant Flower)  The fence is Cheery Lyn Designs - B123 Victorian Picket Fence.  The birds are a border stamp from Martha Stewart and I cut some for on the fence, also.  The Moved Lawn was used for the grass.  I used a raised lined white cardstock
for a different look.  Distressed  the fence with Frayed Burlap ink.

The birdcage was stamped with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink by Stampendous (M256 Tiered Birdcage)
Distressed the edges of the image and sponged the ink around the edge.  Paper is My Mind's Eye, as stated above.  Green baker's  twine.  Used green glitter paper for the card base.
Small green brads on image.

These are such fun colors.  Need to get them while you can.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday.  Until later..........
