BSS MONDAY IDEA - DECORATE A CONTAINER

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

Today we are going to decorate a container. Oatmeal boxes, Pringles Chip cans, and coffee cans make great containers. I used a clear acrylic container that my husband received nuts in for Christmas last year. I love using acrylic see through containers, especially if the contents are colorful.
This is the front of the container.
I used a Northwoods Stamp (09141)
Colored with Copics, Black card stock mat.
Stickles Gold accents on the cats collar.
Three pieces of orange dotted organdy ribbon tied
around the neck of the container and fluffed up.

I cut a border of cobwebs from a Martha Stewart punch for around
the middle of the container. Spiders are a Martha Stewart punch also.
The black cats around the bottom of the container is a punch from
Fiskars. The Stamped Sentiment is an old Diamonds stamp (B236)

The back of the container I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix die (657455)
with some Stickles on the 31.

The second side of the container is a stamp by
Inky Antics (j3-10876-G) Colored with Copics
matted with yellow card stock.

This is the top of the container. I cut circles with the Spellbinders
classic circles die. The stamped sentiment is from
Catslife Press stamped on green card stock, inked with
Versafine and clear embossing powder and cut out.
The orange circle has orange stickles around the edges.
Inside the container is a mixture of salted cocktail peanuts
and candy corn. Even if you are not a fan of candy corn, you will
like this combination. The sweet candy and salty peanuts are
addicting.
Find an interesting container and dress it up with stamps,
paper, dies and punches.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Until later......

A lot of great work on this jar. What a fun gift to give. I had never thought of the mixture of candy corn and peanuts, and I'm afraid to try it. I don't need another food addiction. LOL kisses to Keeya.
