BSS MONDAY IDEA - GRADUATION

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is a couple of Graduation card ideas.
This first one is a card and gift pocket on the back.
This is a basic Spring Card.
Dawn Griffin has a wonderful supply list and video on how to
make this card, except I changed it up to make the front a Graduation
cap. Black and white paper and a couple of Graduation Stamps and a tassel
is all you need to make this card. Folds flat for mailing and pops up
when removed from the envelope. Front sentiment Inkadinkado (95060K)

And on the back, there's a pocket to hold cash or a gift card.
Sentiment on the back Hero Arts (F1171)

Another simple card to make, just like the layout and simplicity.
I used Navy Blue (but you could use any school colors) and
POM silver glitter paper, love this stuff, it's super sparkly and
thin, so it doesn't add bulk. Just a few simple layers, but
pretty elegant, I think. The sentiment on the front is
Wordsworth (s345K)
Thanks for stopping by today. Until later..............

Happy Father's Day

Just a quick post to wish all the Dad's a Happy Father's Day.

This is the card I made for the Hubs,

We will be having a picnic at dinner time with our Daughter, our son-in-law, Granddaughter and Grandson.  Life is good.

Tonight, I was making potatoe salad for tomorrow, and my husband said,
"How come we always go to a nice restaurant or buffet on Mother's Day, and
we cook out on Father's Day"?  I said, "because the weather isn't nice enough yet in May to have an outdoor picnic"!  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ok, kiss your Dad today or call him if you can't do that.
Remember, the best thing a Dad can do for his children is love their Mother.

This is our fur baby Keeya.  She turned one year old on Mother's Day.
She is holding hands with Rick on the bed before going to bed for the night!

Enjoy your Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later.........

SEA SHELLS

Hi friends.  Yeah, it's the weekend!  Hope the weather is good for you wherever you are and that you have something fun planned.

Today's card is made using a new Spellbinder's 3D M-Bossabilities Folder called Shell Beauty.  These folders have a sculptured surface and the embossing is just beautiful.

Here is a closeup of the detail of the embossing.

Another closeup

I embossed on very light blue pearlescent card stock.
I used a stipple brush and different colors of distress and dye inks to enhance
the embossing.
Distressed the edges and mounted on a piece of off-white speckled paper.

Sentiment - Just Rite Stamps
