BSS MONDAY IDEA - Mix it Up

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Do you ever agonize over which papers to add to your card to go with an image you have colored up.
Well today we are going to mix it up.

Pulling colors from the image (and there are lots of them on this one)
I have used a stripe, Gingham, and dots for my Designer papers.


A simple card for Easter.  

The inside



Card Recipe:

Stamps, Northwoods Rubber Stamps (P9408)
Sentiment inside - Taylored Expressions - Big Bold Easter (TEMS64)
Stamped with Versafine (Onyx and embossed with clear EP
Papers - Martha Stewart and Graphic 45
Rick Rack die is EK Success
Colored with Copic Markers
Card is 5x7 with 1/4 inches cut from bottom of front
Embossing folder is Darice.  Used text weight paper, ran entire inside folded
insert throught the embossing folder
Queen and Co. pearls
Ranger Holographic embossing powder on eggs
Using a finger spongs dauber, sponged eggs with
Versafine clear ink, then embossed.
Dotted border is adhered to inside bottom of card.

Don't be afraid to use a mix of papers on your card for an interesting look.

Wow lots of baskets being colored in your house this week. LOL I love this card, both inside and out. Great sentiment and all those embossed eggs. I really love those two papers you used on the card front. They are kind of behind the scenes and let that beautiful image take center stage. Enjoy your day.
