PRANCING DEER

Met with our Financial Guru today and afterward had dinner at a favorite German restaurant.

Saurerbraten was delish, along with potatoe pancakes and red cabbage.  Yum.  Opps, almost forgot the spetzel.  Also enjoyed some German beer.  So good.

Another card showing some of my new dies.

Off white 5.7 card base.
Designer paper from my stash cut
edges with decorative scissors
Tag is also paper from my stash
Off white card stock was torn around the edges
then distressed, two layers
Flower is a spellbinders die, layered poinsettia
stamped with a Just rite stamp set which said they
coordinate, but they did not match up, but I embossed
with gold embossing powder.
Deer is a new Prancing Deer Die from Sizzix
part of the Alterations collection.  Cut him from medium
brown card stock and using vintage photo distress ink, inked
the edges and the hooves
Cut the tail and antlers from off white card and glued them on
.Added the cranberry ribbon and pearls
Sentiment is from the Just Rite set with the poinsettias
Center of poinsettia is lots of tiny yellow dots from
a small whole punch poured on after putting some
Glossy Accents in the center of the flower.

Thanks for taking a peek today.  Have a good one.  Until later.........

Lovely card. I only make Christmas cards for special friends and family. Past years I have bought cards from a charity as had so many to send, but this year I am cutting down as the postage is just too expensive.

Enjoy your day. Sue
