BSS MONDAY IDEA - LET IT SNOW CARD

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

It looks like we are going to have some snow, so this card seems really appropriate today!
Click to enlarge the photos, only way you can see the sparkle.

The finished card.

Close up of large snowflake

Inside Insert front

Inside insert sentiment.

What I used.

Aqua Card stock for a 5x7 inch card base
A 43/4x63/4 inch mat
And the  half snowflakes on the front of
the card and the snowflake border on the front of the inside insert.

White Pearl card stock panel 41/2 inch by 61/2 inch
Also used the white pearl card stock to cut the Let it snow
sentiment and the large snowflake

text weight white copy paper for insert.

Dies Penny Black - Let it Snow - 51-082 Snow Wishes
Small snowflakes on front of card - Snowflake Trio -51-015
Memory Box  - Large snowflake on front - Bianca Snowflake 98193
Frostyville Border - 98146

Sentiment Stamp - 17690 docrafts
Wow - Embossing Powder - Clear Sparkle
Aqua Organza Ribbon
Queen - Rhinestones

How I did it.

Center the large snowflake die at the top of the white pearl panel
and the Let it Snow die below it, leaving enough room for the bow
at the bottom, and cut out.

Using Foam tape, I popped up the white panel onto the aqua mat.
I added the embossing glitter to the large snowflake and, the two small
snowflakes which I had cut in half and only used half,.

Using a liquid glue, I adhered the large snowflake and the sentiment
in the recessed cutout on the pearl panel.

Glue the small snowflakes in aqua along the sides as show.

Make a double bow, Run one end of the ties to the back of the panel
and tape.  Cut the other ties to  good length for your card.

Using foam tape, pop up the aqua panel with the pearl panel attached
to the front of the 5x7 inch card base.

Insert is 43/4x63/4 inches. Adhere the border in two pieces along the
edge of the front of the insert, and stamp your sentiment on the inside.

This card would be pretty in any color for the holidays.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a good day. Until later............

Wonderful color and card design, Sue! I had not thought of using the negative portion of the die cut that way, and it certainly creates a fabulous card design! Thank you for sharing that idea, and all the sparkly happiness, too! hugs, de
