BSS MONDAY IDEA - A Birthday Card

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Hope everyone is winding down on the shopping and wrapping and decorating, so you can finally relax and enjoy the holidays.  I'm baking and cooking this week, but otherwise done.

I have Christmas dies and stamps I did not use this year, so sad, but ran out of time.
But I thought for a change of pace, I would make a birthday card with a little stamp
set I picked up a few weeks ago and haven't had time to have a play with either.

Isn't she adorable!
Have to thank Debbie at the store for giving me hers that she had
set aside to buy because they were out of them, but have been reordered since .
Both the frame and this little Gorjuss girl and three tiny stamps were included in the set
and very reasonably priced too!

This is my finished card.

A peek at the inside

Stamp set - docrafts -Urban Stamps (Gor907-116)
Inside sentiments - in heart -Penny Black - From the Heart clear set (30-207)

Turquoise, pink and white card stock
Stamped frame with Adirondack Slate dye ink
Stamped girl with Versafine Onyx ink and embossed with clear EP.
Cut around the edges of the frame and sponged with black dye ink lightly
Pink pearls - by Queen
Colored with Copics
Stitched white ribbon on front

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a good day.  Until later............

Sue, nice change of pace to see a Birthday card, and one as darling as this one. She is cute and you've showcased her in great fashion. Enjoy your baking and cooking this week. I'm doing the same. I'm off to the market first thing this morning and then in the kitchen for a while. I love it.

She is absolutely darling - and what a great image to work with. Nice to see a card that is not Christmas - although I love Christmas but this is such a nice break.
