BSS Monday Idea - Cjhopped front card

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This weeks card is a chopped front card.

Front of card

Closeup of flower

Card is opened

Card base is 41/4x51/2 inches yellow card stock
Dies:  Flower - Spellbinder;s Blooms 3 (S2-046)
Flourish - Fanciful Flourish -Cherry Lynn Designs (B117)
Embossing Folder -Spellbinders M-Bossabilities (ES-011)
Designer paper is Graphic 45 - Raining Cats and Dogs Collection
Sentiment stamp is old.

To make the card
Using your paper trimmer, remove 31/4 inches down from the top
on the front, onthe fold and then cut across the front of the card.  This will leave
a 2 1/4 inch piece a the bottom of the card for closing the card.
Make a 4x5 1/4  inch white mat and run it through the embossing folder of your
choice and adhere to the inside of the card.  Stamp or die cut, or use boughten  flowers, add leaves
or flourish.  Use a circle die or punch that will accommodate your flower
and punch a half circle in the front of the card where you want to place your
flower.  Adhere flowers making sure you position the flower in the half circle
so the card will close.  Add sentiment.

Hope you have a chance to try this technique.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a good day. Until later...........
