Happy Father's Day

A quick post to wish all Dad's a Happy Father's Day.

Here is the card I made for my husband for his day.

I decided to use this wonderful wolf pair stamp for my card.
It is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps.

We both have a thing for Wolves and have done a little studying of them.
We even visited several out of state Wolf preserves to see these magnificent
creatures up close.

Charcoal Grey and light Grey card stock.  Martha stewart
border punch. Colored with Copics.

As a side note, the phone rang early this afternoon and it
was our daughter (our only child) and her car would not
start and she could not reach her husband.  So DAD
to the rescue. Went and got it started with a jump
and then brought it back to our house to charge the
battery.  Just goes to show, no matter how old they
get, when Daddy's girl needs him, he is right there!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Day.  Until later...........

Hi Sue, I do love your card, love the wolf image and the design of your card.
I love wolves too, I think they are magnificent creatures. We have no wolves now in Scotland, but there was a landowner who wanted to introduce them again on to his land but I think ther was a hue and cry about it as he would have to have put up fences and therefore hillwalkers couldn't tramp the land.
Anyway, lovely story about dad and his girl, and it's a super photo of them both.
Hope he is having a fab day, hugs Kate x

Lovely card.

You are so right, no matter our age we always want our dad (and mum). It's not until they are gone we realise what we have lost.

Hope you had a lovely weekend. Sue

Hi, Sue! So nice to live that closely to your daughter - you have a lovely family. I have missed visiting your blog, and enjoyed my afternoon seeing what you have been up to this month. LOVE this masculine animal card. That MS border punch is one of my favorites, and I especially like how you have used it with 2 colors of cardstock. I'm sorry about not visiting as often as I'd like these days. Thanks for understanding. hugs, de
