BSS MONDAY IDEA - Shadow Box Card

Card is 4 1/4x5 1/2 inches

Stamp - House Mouse Design -( HMCQ15) Mint Nibbler-Stampendous
Papers - Red card stock, Designer paper is American Crafts
Silver glitter paper, piece of acetate to cover front opening.
Marvey scalloped punched circle
Spellbinders die Stately Circles (S4-388)
Spellbinders die for circle cutout on front.
WOW Embossing Powder - Clear Sparkle (WS15R)
Red and white baker's twine
Colored with Copics

Base card for the 4 1/4x5 1/2 inch card
Cut 2 pieces of card stock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2"

***Score on each end on the long side at 3/4" and 1 1/2"
For the front piece fold the  1 1/2" score line in a Mountain Fold
And the 3/4" score line in a valley fold
For the back piece fold the 1 1/2" scoreline in a Valley fold
And the 3/4" scoreline in a Mountain fold.

***(These score lines and fold are the same for both sized cards.)



Finished card is 5x7 inches

 I embossed the acetate that covers the front opening
with a snowflake embossing folder.

Stamp - Wild Rose Studio (Cl460) Owls on Branch
Paper - Blue card stock, white glitter paper
Piece of Acetate to cover front opening
Dies - Spellbinders dies for cut out on front
Memory Box dies, Green Trees, Pine Branch
Inside cuttlebug embossing folder snowflakes
sponged lightly with blue ink and embossed
with Wow embossing powder.
Snowflake punch is Martha Stewart
Fun flock on owls hats and stockings
Frantage embossing powder on trees
Rhinestones on snowflakes, Queen and Co.
Colored with Copics

Base card for 5" x 7" card
Cut two pieces of card stock 5" x 10" 

***Score and Fold as above.

AND THEY FOLD FLAT FOR MAILING!


The base card is pretty simple to cut and score. You can use
 any shape to cut out the front opening. Then you just
decorate as you like and adhere the two end pieces
together when done decorating.

Oh these are so cute and they fold flat.....a must try for me. It cost to much to mail my cards these days...lol I love shaker cards. Yours turned out amazing!
