BSS MONDAY IDEA - Peaceful Lake Scene

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.  

This week, the idea is to color up a scene

I found this stamp recently at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff by Sheena (Sheena Douglas).

 This beautiful Scene was created by using only the two stamps that came in the set,

 the mountains and the boats.  Depending on where you place the dies, the distance creates

the lake.

Inside

Base card is 5x7 inches cream card stock

Embossing folder - Chevron 5x7 by Darice

Stamp set- Sheena  Peaceful Lake - Crafters Companion (SD-SSPeaceEZ)

The set also includes two sentiment stamps.

Colored with Copic Markers

Sprayed with a high gloss finish to prevent fading, and to

add to the photo look.

The inside sentiment is an old Hero Arts Set.

RELAX

Hi friends.  We are off to a birthday celebration at the ball park today.  One of our life-long friends is having a birthday and his daughter is taking a group of friends to a baseball game this afternoon.

Thankfully, the humidity is lower today and the temps are down, so should be fun.

Here is the card I made for his birthday.

Don't you just love this chair die.  It is by Sizzix and is a Bigz die.

You just place it on the fold of any size insert and cut. Decorate

the background and foreground of the insert.  So cute!

I used cloud paper from a summer stack, fence is Cheery Lyn Designs

Glasses are a sticker by Jolee'.  I hand cute the flip-flops.

Water is glitter paper run through a water design embossing folder.

Sand is a brown ribbed paper I had in my stash.  White embossing

powder on the edge of the water.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Wedding Time

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Wow, summer is going by so quickly.  With all the summer activities we love

to enjoy outdoors, the days seem to just slip away.

Do you have a wedding to go to soon? This week we are featuring a

great stamp by Stamping Bella, I think your going to love it!

                     Stamp set, including inside sentiment is

Stamping Bella - "I DO" (eb315).  Loving this

close-up series.

Card is 5x5, white pearl card stock.

White glitter paper Mat is 4 3/4x4 3/4

Kaiser White with white flowers card stock is cut

at 4 1/2 by 4 1/2

Image is matted on a piece of red card stock

A strip 1 1/2 inches wide of glittered card stock

is added across the last matted layer

White tulle ribbon is tied across the top of  the image.

Small heart stick on added to center of bow.

Inside, Sizzix Hearts Primitive #3 (love this die) (657021)

Martha Stewart border die and a strip of red card stock.

Sentiment is included with the image stamp.

Star Dust Stickles on her gown.

White liqid pearls on the buttons on her gown.

TOP SHELF

Hello friends. It's HOT here again after a couple of days of cooler weather.  Won't last long, but I am not a fan of HOT and Humid.  

I made this card for my son in law for his birthday.  Found this wonderful pattern on the AR Creations site.  She is closing up her business due to ill health sorry to say, and is remaining open for a short time.  ALL patterns are half off and she has some wonderful ones.  Go check it out you might find something to your liking.  The come in cut or SVG files.

This wine bottle pattern actually has a box between the two

sides, but I chose to make a card and put a pocket to add a

little gift of money.

Easy to follow patterns with color step-by-step directions.

The birthday sentiment is from a stamp company that

is now out of business, Paper Inspirations.

The Aged to Perfection stamp is Art Impressions SC0677

clear set all about wine.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Circle card

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This week's idea is a cute little circle card.

Stamp - Dovecraft, clear stamp Bohemian (DCSTP018)

This stamp comes with three sentiments also.

Paper p Watercolor Paper for image, Designer Paper

Ribbon from my stash

Enamel Dots - Teresa Collins - Summer Stories (SUM117)

Colored with Prisma Color Pencils

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Dies - Spellbinders - Pierced Circles (SCD-009)

Scallop Circles - Lifestyle Nesting Eyelet Circles (DC0153)

To make the card, you just cut two circles, Decorate the front of one

circle.  I threaded the ribbon through the holes

 in the die and tied a bow at the top.

Wth the second circle, place a ruler across the top

about 3/4 to 1 inch down from the top.  Score a line across.

Fold on score line, making a good crease.

Add adhesive to the portion above the crease and

line up beneah the front of the card and adhere.

Graduation Party

Hi blogging friends.  Heading out to a Graduation Party today for a neices oldest daughter.

Beauiful, smart, and athletic gal, and so proud to help her celebrate this milestone.

I found this card on pinterest, but no directions, so I just winged it until I got what I liked.

Don't you just love those school colors!

BSS MONDAY IDEA - WAITING FOR YOU

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Have you seen these cute little pups in the store by Stampendous?

For this weeks idea, I made a card using the stamp set, the die cuts to match,

and the clear word set.  So cute...........

Fence - Cheery Lyn Designs - (B123)

Stamped and colored the pups face and paws, cut out with 

matching dies.

Wood fence was made using My Minds Eye 6x6 Pad.

Cut the piece I wanted and ran it through the Darice wood

grain embossing folder.  I then cut across the top with a

scalloped square die.  In between each scallop I scored a line

the length of the fence to look like boards.

I then place the paws in the middle and using an Action

Wobble Spring, attached the pups head (a little tilted) in place.

The Action Wobble Spring adds motion. 

At the bottom of the tall fence, I added the border grass, fence (I cut it down), a brown

strip for dirt, and the flower border (I cut it apart to spread the flowers

around)

Added a tiny pink bow to the pups head.

I ran the inside liner left side through a Darice Paws embossing

folder, and added the sentiment on the right from

the Stampendous Dog Sayings set.

Fun card to put together.  Love the pups in the set, their are three

different dog heads, a dog body, a bone and the paws
