BSS IDEA - Pop Out Card

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Well, you knew it had to happen eventually.  We are finally getting
some snow.  Some of the surrounding communities in the Southern
Tier are getting a lot more than us.

This weeks card is a pop out card.

Stamp - Stampendous - Hill Top Train (R276)
Paper - Green Mirror Card Stock
Designer paper - Kaiser Glimmer
White Glitter Paper
Star Dust Stickles
Colored with Copics

First, the card is so easy to make.  I cut a piece of card stock 6x9 inches

I scored at 2", 3", 6" and 7"
2" score line is a valley fold
3" score line is a mountain fold
6" score line is a mountain fold
7" score line is a valley fold

Center three inch panel used a 5 3/4x2 3/4 inch mat
End panels used a 5 3/4" x 1 3/4" mat

Decorate to your liking.
Folds flat for mailing.

These are the measurements I used, you could adjust the  panels to your liking, but wanted it to fit into a 5x7 inch envelope.

I attached a white card stock panel to the back of the center panel for signing the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later....

SILENT NIGHT

A quick post tonight.  Have been shopping and wrapping.  Put the tree up, but not finished decorating it.  I feel so behind and lugging the stuff up the basement stairs is a chore for sure.  So many decorations collected over so many years.  I wonder how I got it all done when I worked!!!

Three cards all done with the same stamp.

Navy cardstock
White Glitter Paper
Stamped in white emobssing powder on Navy Card Stock.

Gold Mirror Card Stock
Stamped in Gold embossing powder

Silver Card 5x7 inches
Silver mirror card stock mat
White mat
Stamped in sparkly black embossing powder
Heat embossed
Sponger distress ink over image.  Punched a small circle and
placed in on image before sponging to create moon.

Love this beautiful stamp Stampendous - Silent Night (CRR184) and the different looks you can
achieve with it.

Thanks for stopping by.  Until later.....

BSS IDEA -HE SEES YOU WHEN YOU'RE SLEEPIN

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Are you freaking out a little wondering how you are going
to get everything done in time for Christmas?
Me too.  Don't you wish the pilgrims would have
had Thanksgiving in October so the two holidays
didn't come so close together?

I am full swing in the Christmas Card mode.
Here is this weeks card, featuring a wonderful little
image of Santa and one of his reindeer peeking in the window.

Good luck with your Christmas shopping, card making, wrapping,
cleaning, decorating, and getting enough sleep!!!

Snowman

No card today.  I have been working on this snowman wreath for a couple of weeks now, and finally finished it up today.  I just love him.  Lots of cutting and attaching the mech to a wire wreath, but he is so cute.  Thought I would share it with you.

A cardinal and some green above his earmuff

The mess is very sparkly, but picture doesn't show it.
I also added some snowflakes and jewels in the center of them.

Such a handsome snowman!!!  LOVE him.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.

BSS IDEA-Santa Gets Framed

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family.

Did you go out into the Christmas Shopping madness?  I did not.  I used to
get up to get to the stores for certain toys and games, but those days are
over.  I did run out later at night on Friday to get a new game for
Christmas Eve, but by then the crowds were over and I just zupped in
and out quickly.

Well, in the spirit of the upcoming visit by the man in red here is
this weeks offering.

Close up of stamped image.

Stamp - Santas Pick up - Stampendous (CRR274)
Paper - Gold Mirror Paper
Snowflake Dies - Penny Black
Red Pearls - Kaiser
Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder
Sponger Snowbanks
Colored with Copics
Stardust Stickles
Liquid Pearls-White

Cut a piece of the mirror card stock to fit
the front of your card.  Center a die that is big enough
for your image on the mirror card stock and cut.
Place the frame you created in the embossing folder
and run it through.  Adhere your stamped image
so it is centered in the frame.  Adhere the framed
image to the front of your card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day
Until later.........
