BSS MONDAY IDEA - I LOVE OLD THINGS

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

I love old things. When I saw this stamp, it reminded me of my Grandma,
who lived upstairs from us. She had a Singer Sewing Machine in black
with the gold scroll on it.

When I climbed the stairs to go see her, I could
hear the hum of the machine before I opened the door to go in.  She made
so many wonderful things for us as kids

.  So, I just had to have this wonderful stamp.

Stamp - Pink Ink Stamp Company, Sewing Machine (2222K)
I used white, red, black and gold card stock
Rectangle stitched dies
Colored with Copics
I used a gold krylon pen, expelled some ink on a piece of
foil and painted the gold on with a fine paint brush.
Inside sentiment was computer generated and says:
You can't make old friends, you either have
them, or you don't.

I love when a stamp evokes a memory!
Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later......

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Somebunny Loves You

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Have you seen these sweet stamp sets?  Each one comes with a sweet
little girl, and a bunch of other stamps.  AND the best part is the entire
set cost $7.99 and they are red rubber cling stamps!

This set consists of the Little girl, a large lacy oval, a matching lacy border
stamp, the flower, a little bunny like the one she is holding,  and four small
accent stamps and a sentiment, ten pieces in all.

The colored index for these little gals is usually very dark colors, but
since it's Spring I did my card up with pastel colors.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - SWEET LAMB

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Well, the weather is supposed to get warmer and milder this week.  Spring
can't be far off now.  Time to turn the clocks ahead soon, and St. Patty's Day
and Easter will be here before we know it.

I bought this little Lamb stamp a few weeks ago.  It has the sweetest face.
I decided to cut it out with an oval die, snip off a small piece of the bottom
to make it into an egg shape and frame it, so it resembled those
beautiful eggs that you look into to see a scene.

Awww, right?

I fussy cut a second flower wreath and popped it up on her head.

The inside.

Stamp Stampendous- Floral Lambkin
(CRP277)
Paper - Perfectly Plaid-Fawn Lawn 6x6" pad

Let's Hear it for the Girls

Hi friends.  I received an email from a website, Paper Wishes, the other day and so I went to see

what it was all about.  Well, their own brand is Hot Off the Press, which has been around for many years, but they also sell all other brands of stamping and scrapbooking supplies.

I saw these little girls in a stamp set and just had to get them.  Each one has so much personality. I made a set of small A-2 cards as a gift.  I bought three stamp sets, so you will be seeing more little girls and one set has carousel animals.  Almost every item has a video attached to it to view about the product, and their are so many videos you can watch for techniques and ideas.

Aren't they just the cutest!
Can't wait to ink up the other two stamps in the set
and a lot of sentiments included too.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later.........

Woodlands Fairy

Hi Friends, supposed to get some snow tonight and tomorrow. Turned colder too again.  Not out of the woods yet!

I tried my hand at a CAS (clean and simple) style card today for the CAS challenge at
Split Coast Stampers.

Close up of Image

The image is an old Digi by Robyn's Fetish (looks like
it is no longer available)
Yellow and white card stock
Sentiment is old also.
Colored with Copics
Used silver Stickles on the bells
Wow clear sparkle embossing powder on sentiment
Star Dust Stickles on wings.

Hard for me not to embellish more, but sure makes
mailing a lot easier.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later........
