BSS MONDAY IDEA - WHAT'S COOKIN'

Welcome to the BSS Monday Idea.

This week, I have made four recipe cards using the
Stamp and Die set of the little chefs.

Supplies

Stamps - My Favorite Things - Recipe for Happiness (BB-20)
Matching Dies - Die-namics MFT-863
Blue, Green, Red, and Darker Blue Card Stock
Gingham Paper to match

Each card base measures 6 x 4 1/2
Gingham Mats 5 1/2 x 4

I typed the recipes and printed them out and trimmed to
fit the card.  If the recipe is long, Print the ingedients
needed and adhere to the back of the card
with the instructions on the front, that's what
I did with the red card.

Love these little guys, and love that they have
matching dies, beats fussy cutting them out.

Fun recipe cards, make a nice little gift too.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Day.

BSS IDEA - GRADUATION TIME

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

It's Graduation time, so I  made a card to celebrate this important
milestone for those of you who have an about to be Graduate in your
family or circle of friends.

Card Instructions
Base card is 5 x 7  inch white card stock
Black mat cut at 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inch
white mat cut at 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 and embossed

Black card insert cut at 41/2 x 9 inches folded in hal
to form a 4 1/2 inch square card
White glitter paper mat cut at 4 1/4 x 41/4

Adhere the black and white mats to the front of the
5/7 inch base card, set aside.

On the black 4 1/2 inch square, adhere the white glitter
paper mat to what would normally be the front of the card, only with the opening
on the left.
Adhere the Graduates die (Inpression Obsession DIE296-T)
to the upper part of the card.
Adhere a sentiment under the die.  I used a
Spellbinders die (Diamond Effects S5-192) to embossed
a congratulations sentiment (Just Rite Large Fancy Sentiments
(CR03815) in gold.

For the placement of the diamond shape, which is a Spellbinders
Classic Square Large die (S4-126) , line the black 41/2x41/2 card
so it fits between the front of the white 5x7 inch card base, and center it.
Don't adhere it yet, use it only to get the placement for the cap and letters
on the embossed white card base.  Center of words and letters
on the graduation cap, I cut them from gold glitter paper, using
the Impression Obsession die (DIE284-M) I punched a small black
circle and adhered a small gold tassel to it with a small pop
up dot. Now, adhere the graduation cap,  making sure it will be
completely hidden when the black 41/2x41/2 card is closed over

Lastly, adhere the black card back to the inside of the white card base.
Easiest way to do this is to center the black card  against the edge
of the front of the white card and add adhesive to the back of the
black card and close the white card.
Decorate the inside black card with a sentiment (I used an old
Hero Arts stamp) on a Spellbinders Labels Twenty Five die (S5-077).
I added a 1.4 inch strip of gold glitter paper to the edges of the black
card.

You could do this in your Grads school colors too.
Simple card to make, you are just combining two cards
together.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day. Until later.

BSS IDEA - OH BABY

Welcome to another Monday at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.

This week, I've made a baby card with a great embossing folder.
The embossing folder comes with disks that are snap out
and snap in that allow you to emboss three different sayings.
It's a boy, It's a girl, or New Arrival.  Great for baby announcements,
a  baby shower card, or to send to a family with a new addition.

Finished card is 5x7 inches

Inside Sentiment Stamp - Impression Obessession (E9889)
White Card Stock base.
Embossing Folder - Baby Interchangeable Embossing Folder - C Gull
I ran white card stock through the embossing folder
for the card.  I then embossed the little feet with pink,
and the sentiment with blue card stock and fussy cut
them out. Adhered the pink feet and the blue sentiment over
the white embossed piece.  Using blue gingham ribbon
I added a top trim and bow to the card.  The x's and O's
were cut with an older Cuttlebug die, but you could use
any sticker letters or even stamp letters from an alphabet set.
The hearts are an older Marvey punch that I ran through the
embossing folder to match.

BSS IDEA - YOU LOOK FABULOUS DARLING

Hi friends, it's Monday, and time for a new card idea here
at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.

I was in the store checking out all the new "Stuff" and found this new wonderful
stamp by Penny Black.  My niece is a dog walker, although she is side-lined right now
with a broken ankle from a fall (NOT dog walking), and not because she had
three inch heels on like this diva!!

click on image to enlarge it.

Stamp - Penny Black-Totally Fabulous (40-432)
White card stock base 51/2 x 4 1/4 inches.
Hot Pink card stock and black and white dotted card stock
I stamped the flower on the hat a second time, and colored and popped it
up with a foam dot.
Sentiment stamp is included in the set.
Added a few white and pink sequins.
Stickles added to flower on hat.

A fun image and fun to color up too.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.  Until later.....

A Very Special Gift

Hi friends.  Just sharing a very special gift from a dear Blogging Friends of mine.

Recently, Dora, my friend in the Netherlands, opened her own shop selling digi's she designs.
Dora is a very talented artist, and I was fortunate enough to have been asked by her to
make a card with one of her digi's for the Grand Opening of her shop.

I was writing to her that we owned a Keeshond, which is the National dog of the Netherlands, and I would love it if she could make me a digi of my dog.  I sent her pictures and
the history of the dog, since she had not ever heard of this. (More info than she ever wanted to know)

Well, shortly after all this transpired, I opened my email to find a beautiful digi of our girl Keeya.

I finally had a chance to color it up, (this is actually my second time coloring it, the first one didn't go so well).  It looks just like her. .

I cannot thank Dora enough for doing this for me, such a talented and sweet friend.  Hope you like what I did with your art, Dora.

Our Keeya

I colored with Lyra Rembrandt colored pencils
Sponged color on the background with
distress inks.
I made the card girly, because Keeya is such a girly girl.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day.  Until later.........
