BSS IDEA - SUMMERTIME and FRIENDS

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Hot enough for you guys!!  WOW, a little less humidity would be nice.
My poor flowers start to wilt by 9 am.

Do you color up an image and then look for papers to use on
your card, or do you color your stamped image to go with
certain papers?  I have always, ever since I started stamping
colored the image up first without any thought to how I will
use it on a card.  Then I agonize over what papers to use.
Probably not the best method, but how I have always done
it.  It kinda makes you look at color schemes you most
likely would not have chosen first.

Here is my take on summer and friends for this week.

Orange a royal blue color combo.

Close up of sweet image.

Inside of the card.

Stamp - Penny Black Tandem (40-454)
The inside sentiment is included.
Die - Lil'Inker Designs -Dual Dotted Rectangles
Base card is 5x7 Royal Blue card stock.
Used an orange dotted and striped paper and bright orange card stock
for the panels and some of the bright orange and royal blue
for the added 1/4 inch strips.  Flowers are from my stash.
I added green and yellow Stickles to the image too.

I stamped the image on white card and colored it up
with Copics.  Using a paper cutter, I trimmed around the image
Leaving part of the mouses tail and part of the umbrella
outside the cut out area.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a great day.  Until later.........

BSS IDEA -Dies, Dies, Dies

Welcome to my weekly idea post for Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.

This weeks card was made using lots of dies.
I think I have an addiction to dies, can't get enough!

Card is 5x7
Dies I used -
CityScape - Impression Obsession DIE 339-Z
Fence - Rounded Fence - Memory Box 98287
Small flowers - Martha Stewart Punch
Leaves - Impression Obsession DIE055-N
Hello inside - Altenew - Halftone Hello Die

I cute a Piece of paper 5x6 inches and sponged the clouds
on half of it and green for he grass on the lower half.
I cut the cityscape die twice, once with light gray card stock
and again with dark gray cardstock
I off set the light and dark matching buildings
and adhered them together.  Matted the finished piece
on white card stock and adhered to a light gray
card stock base.

Have fun with those dies!

BSS IDEA - "Simply" Beautiful

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This week, we are keeping it "Simple" with a stunning stamp from
Northwoods Rubber Stamps.

Supplies Used
Card is 51/2 x 4 1/4 inches
Two different colors of orchid Bazzill Card Stock one for the base
and one for the mat.
Stamp - North Wood Rubber Stamps (PP10007)
Eyelet Border  punch by Martha Stewart
WOW Clear Sparkle Emobssing Glitter (WS15R)
Circle Die - Spellbinders
Colored with Copics

I glittered the entire image by stamping a clear
embossing pad across the image on the circle until
I had covered it completely.  Then just sprinkled
the embossing glitter on and shook off the excess
Glitter is hard to photograph, but it is really pretty in real life.

Love these hydrangeas in the bucket, so pretty.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later........

BSS IDEA - Group Therapy

Welcome to another Monday Idea at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.

Happy 4th of July!

Love this stamp and the sentiment.

Stamp-Whipper Snapper Designs-(MZ109)-Group Therapy
5x7 inch white  card base
designer paper is Graphic 45 Enchanted Forest Collection-Sumptuous Floral
Circle dies-Spellbinder's Nestabilities
Stickles - Ice
Colored with Copics
I cut two umbrellas so I could pop it up with a foam dot.
Green and white striped ribbon bow

Close up of Stickles on drinks

I ran ice stickles around the edges of the glasses
to make them look frosty.

Sharon wanted me to show you this new die.  It's from
Kaiser Craft, and it leaves stitching lines and
it pops up the center of the squares when you emboss
it after cutting it.

Don't those drinks look delish!!!!
and you gotta love the sentiment
Group Therapy which is on the stamp,
what are friends for, right!!

Enjoy your 4th of July!
Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later..............
