BSS - Christmas Baubles

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  Do you make them year round
so that you are ready when you need them?  I have a zillion Christmas
stamps, and love everyone of them, but never seem to get enough made
to send to everyone on my list, So this year I am trying to get them
made a few at a time so I have enough.  The other thing is designing
them so that you don't have to pay extra postage on them!!

Here is a card I made with a wonderful set of dies.

Close up of ornaments

Die Set - Kaisercraft-DIY Cuts-Layered Baubles (4 pieces)
Paper - Gold Mirror, Green and Red Glitter Paper
Embossing Folder - We R Memory Keepers Quilted
Distress Oxide Inks - Worn Lipstick and Lucky Clover
Gold ribbon
Tiny white self stick pearls
Gold Mirror Mat on a 41/4 x 51/2 inch card base.

Loving this beautiful die set, can't wait to use it
in so many other ways.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
Until later........

Hi Sue, Another fab card.

Our postal system introduced a slot measure. There are two slots, one would only take a card or thin letter. The other would take something thicker. With both slots the item cannot weigh more than 100grams, or it then goes from letter to small parcel, costing much more.

Hope you have a good start to the week. Sue

Beautiful card. Love the pearls you added. There is a nice shine to the card. [Bunny]

The mirror cardstock ornaments are amazing in their glorious layers, Sue! And that background is breathtaking! lovely colors. I enjoy making Christmas cards a little all year, and was better at accomplishing that feat this year, but still need to improve. I'm such a slow designer. Like you, I struggle with designing cards that are suitable for the 1/4" US mail rule. I still think it is unfair. LOL This year I actually began purchasing extra $2.00 stamps a little all year long so that it wouldn't be so cumbersome price wise when the mailing date arrived. Wishing you a great week, Sue! hugs, de
