HONEYCOMB

Hello blogging friends.  We are still shoveling snow and hoping that Spring
is around the corner.

I've made a Spring card for today though.

Stamp - Honeycomb Wishes (including inside sentiment and some
additional sentiments) Stampendous (SSC1257)
Papers - Black Card Stock, Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook Collection,
Wildfire Bouquet.
Brusho Crystals for the Honeycomb
Stamped with Vintage Photo distress ink.
I fussy cute the bees and colored with Copics and added
Star Dust Stickles to the wings
Card is 6x6 Octagon die set, various sizes.
Popped up layers with foam tape.

I dripped some hot melt glue on the honeycomb to look like honey.

I love the inside sentiment, and in case you can't read it

Their bodies are heavey
Their wings too small
But yet they fly after all
Bee-lieve

Hope your having a great day.
Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later....

This is so cool, Sue! Love how you got the honey on the card, what a great idea! Did you use yellow glue stick or did you add ink to it? Just love this card!! Thanks so much for sharing with Stampendous!

I love this card--I LOVE BEES, and everything about bees, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The addition of honey was genius!!!!

I'm totally ready for spring! I am in DC, and was here last week when the snow came and went. Snowed on DD's crocus'' but they seem like they'll make it okay. Your card is beautiful, Sue! I almost bought a dress the other day in a pretty black print...this makes me think of it. Thanks for sharing!
