BSS MONDAY IDEA - EASEL TOP DRAWER CARD

Hello.  It's my Monday Idea for Buffalo Stamp and Stuff.

Today's idea is an Easel Top Drawer Card.

I found the pattern at:

for the Drawer Box, then just added the easel card to the top.

This is the box with the easel card opened up.  I used a new Magnolia Stamp.  The papers are My Mind's Eye, Out and About Stack.  The border punch is EK Success and I used the butterfly cutouts on the card as well.  I popped  up the butterfly on her arm and the flower in her hair.

Here is the drawer opened up.  The drawer will hold 10-41/2x51/2 inch cards and envelopes.
Of course, you could fill the drawer with any goodies you like.  I colored with Copics.  I distressed the edge of the Spellbinders die oval with Broken China distress ink.  I also used a Spellbinders die label to make the card.

Melissa Frances pearls hold the Easel card open.  Flower by Prima.  I used a button
on the front of the drawer.

Here is the box with the easel shut.

The box goes together quite easily and quickly.
FYI, the first drawer I made from the instructions was too small.  Refer to Step 1.
When you score, you should score each side at 1 3/8 inches instead of 11/4 inches.
This extra 1/8 inch makes the drawer fit perfectly.

Hope you have a chance to try this technique.  Makes a great little gift.  Going to make another one using a music theme for a friend with note cards inside.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Monday.  Until later...............
