Today is Monday, so it's my post for my local stamp store, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.
Today's idea is right from the Hero Arts site.
The idea is to stamp the word stamp first, then stamp the poppy stamp with embossing ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Then color the flowers with distress inks and the sponge ink tool.
You can get complete instructions by clicking on the above link.
What I used on this card:
Stamps - All Hero Arts - Friend Definition, Poppies, sentiment
Papers - Birds-My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy; aqua textured cardstock;
Brown is other side of bird paper
Bird border, Martha Stewart
Pearls
Ink - Tattered Rose and Barn Red Distress Ink
Hope you have a chance to try this technique.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday. Until later..............
