CHRISTMAS CANDLES

Hello, hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween.  I had about two dozen kids last night, a bumper crop for me, not one person came to my door last year, despite all the lights on, a lit pumpkin and a window full of Fall decorations.  My front door is on the side, so they get to the house next door and cross the street.  Was fun to see the little ones so excited.  The last group around 8 PM were probably high school boys and really surprised me, but each of them lifted a pillowcase to get their candy and said Trick or Treat and Thank you.............what a pleasant surprise!!!

Today's card is for the sixth round of the Progressive Challenges at the Crafter's Digital Art Center.I received my images today and they are all wonderful.  Hope I have time to do them all, but had to do this one right away when I saw it.

  5. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and I love all the cards I've been seeing online. Love yours today, so bright and happy!
As for the trick or treaters, well in the 18 yrs we have lived here, we have had 5 of them and that was one year when some of my kids friends came to our house. We are on Delaware Rd and it's kind of a busy street so the kids just end up doing the side streets. So none again this year. Glad you got some though.

  7. Goodness, but these candles look like they are made of wax. How you do dat? LOL. You are so talented. We didn't have many Tick of Treaters either. Last year we ran out of candy and I had to make an emergency candy run. This year I have a bowl full and my diabetic husband is trying to eat the leftovers. LOL
