WASH DAY

Hello again, it's the weekend, most everyone's favorite time of the week.  Hope you have something fun planned, or have some extra time for crafting.  We are attending a birthday party this afternoon, shh....it's a surprise, will tell you more next time............

Today's card is for the challenge at Squigglefly.  It's #34 and the theme is Falling into Fall.

I have used this absolutely gorgeous image by Lynne Stansberry.

I kept the card really simple because I wanted to let this digi be the center of attention on this card.
I added some sticker leaves from my stash and some fall colored tiles.  Papers are layered mats and I colored  with Copic Markers.

The inside sentiment which came with the image says "I hate four letter words, like wash, iron, cook and dust".

I am absolutely in love with this artist's drawings and they are a dream to color.

Hope you have a great Saturday.  Enjoy your weekend.  Thanks for stopping by today.
Leave me a comment so I know you were here.  Until later............

  8. Amazing card, what a fabulous image and coloured so wonderfully! I love that you made it the absolute focus of the card! What amazing women they were, hard working and tough. They had to be! I remember my Mom washing clothes that way before we got electricity (oh so many years ago and I was very young!) Love, love this card!

  12. This is another cool one Sue. Looks like it might be from the same artist that drew your painting toenails card?
