Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is paper piercing.
Paper piercing adds texture to a card.
Here, I have pierced the Spellbinders die mat just around the edge.
Using a piercing tool and a sponge mat.
The completed card. I also pierced the white border above and below
the ribbon.
Stamp - Stampendous Cling - Pear Label CRW084
Orange, two colors, white and green card stock.
Spellbinder's die - Nestabilities, Label One
Martha Stewart Border punch
Ribbon from my stash
Colored with Copics.
Using a ruler, pierce a line straight across the bottom of a card for interest.
Hope you have a chance to try this technique.
Have a great Monday. Thanks for stopping by today. Until later.
Great paper piercing, everything seems to be pretty regular.Mine often go out of kilter, can't seem to keep them straight or evenly spaced. Love your pears, fab card!

Oh that ribbon goes so great with your pears. I think I should have some nice fruit for breakfast. Thanks for getting me off to a good healthy start today. I love to pierce and it really adds to a card. You'd think because I love it so much, I'd do it more often wouldn't you? I will have to rectify that. Thanks for sharing this very nice, soft, sweet card.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully colored pears and wonderful card, Sue! Your card makes me want to break out my favorite pear image and use it again - it's been far too long. A beautiful card in every way. hugs, de
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny. I just paper-pierced a card I made today. You are so correct it does add interest and is easy to do too on the right dies, but doing it on a curved line is hard to keep evenly spaced. You aced this one
