In Sympathy

Hi friends.  Warm and wet here in Western New York.  Keeya does NOT like thunder and lightening, and no amount of trying to reassure her that she is okay would do.  I put her tight fitting T-shirt on and that does help, but she still paces and pants and shakes until it goes away.  This is our second Keeshond that was afraid of the thunder and lightening.  I told Rick we needed to build a soundproof, no windows room in the basement to take her to when storms come up!!!

My card for today is a Sympathy card.  I don't make many of these, I usually buy them, but this friend that lost her MIL over the weekend knows I make cards, and I think she would be hurt if I didn't make her a handmade card.

White card stock base 5x7 inches
mint green card stock mat embossed, mint green card stock die
from Cuttlebug, Anna Griffin.  Oval die Spellbinders.
Rose is an old Stampin" Up stamp colored with Copics
Butterfly is cut from Spellbinders die from the mint green and vellum papers
Pearls form  the body of the butterfly.
Sentiment is a dollar stamp from Michael's

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later...........

  11. Aw, poor little Keeya! It is so difficult for the dogs who are "thunder sensitive". Does she have a safe place to go to? Sometimes they like enclosed, small spaces to feel secure during storms (we live in the Lightning Capital of the Country and once owned a dog who was fearful of thunder - he would go crazy). Your card is amazing - love the AG die cut - I actually purchased that about 4 months ago and have not used it yet. You have inspired me with the gorgeous layers and beautiful floral arrangement. My finger tips are slowly becoming less painful, so I am trying to type a little bit more each day without triggering the symptoms again LOL huggers, de
