Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
This weeks idea is a flowered heart. I received a Hallmark birthday card with
a similar heart and birthday wishes sentiment on the front and just loved it, so I
thought I would try to make something like it. Here is the results.
A close up of the flowered heart
My finished card.
Card Base is a 41/4 x 5 1/2 inch white card stock
Cuttlebug Chevron embossing folder mat is 3 3/4 x 5 inch
Border punch is EK Success
Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two (S5-030)
The flower punch is Martha Stewart, Hydrangea
and I punched it several times with two colors of
blueish purple. I used a small dot punch to make the
centers. I just glued the large and small flowers
randomly all over the heart, adding centers until the
heart was completely covered. I used a Marvy heart punch
for the base.
Would be a fun card for Valentines Day too, and would be
pretty with different kinds of punched flowers.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy New Year

Total Class Act, Sue. I love the vanilla with the blue. That particular die piece for your sentiment is always a winner with me. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Sue, the blueish purple floral heart looks fabulous against the white embossed background.
