Summer Best Wishes

Hi, Hope your Thursday was good. I planted some fern that my sister gave me today. It's beautiful swaying fern, and I hope it takes, want to eventually plant it around the pond, but have to transplant some things next spring that have become overgrown. It never ends! Today's card is by Inkadinkado and is made up of 15 one inch images. I cut the images and put them on 1 and 1/8 inch squares. The border is a new punch by EK Success. Best Wishes is from a Hero Arts set. Thanks for stopping by. Until later.............

Christmas in July

Hi, happy Wednesday. Went out for awhile today and stopped in at my local stamp store. I am going to start posting a card a week, every Monday on the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Blog. I hope to inspire with ideas and challenges. I am excited about this idea, and I want to thank Sharon, the owner, for giving me this opportunity. She has also linked my blog to her website so customers can come in a take a look whenever they want to. Today's card is for the House Mouse Challenge this week. The challenge was to stamp one of the seasons. As you can see, I chose Christmas. Yep, that's white fur trimming the bottom of the card. The snowflakes are a cuddlebug die. Thanks for stopping by. Until later...............

By the Sea

Hi again. This is really Tuesday's card. This card is a Penny Black for the Saturday PB Challenge, which this week was to use red, white, and blue. This is a beautiful vintage stamp.
The Sand castle border is a border punch. I took it out of the package and the name of the manufacturer is nowhere on the punch. It is the new ones that fold flat, EK Success??? Going to shower and turn in, long day. Hope your Tuesday was good. Thanks for stopping by. Until later...

Explore the Library

Hello, this was supposed to be yesterday's card, but I didn't finish it. This weeks challenge for the guest designer spot at Cornish Heritage Farms is paper piecing. I have done the Mushroom Library with this technique. I haven't done this in a long time and I usually do it with larger images like flowers, but once I got into it, I had fun. This is week two of five of the challenge. Brian's surgery for Carpel Tunnel went well, is home and resting. Hope your Monday is going well. Thanks for stopping. Until later..................

Strawberry Time

Hello. Hope your Sunday is relaxing. Had a great time at my sisters yesterday. Today, I have a bridal shower to attend for my daughters best friend. So happy for her. She is going to be married in Las Vegas this month. We are going to be able to watch the wedding online! Today's card is a wonderful stamp by Stamps Happen. Thought it was a good one for this time of the year. We have had some good strawberries this summer. Heidi went to the farmer's market and bought 14 quarts of local strawberries and made freezer jam. She has been going this since her kids were babies and they hate store bought jelly!!! Thanks for stopping by. Until later....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

Happy Independence Day! The potato salad is made, the hot dogs are ready and fire works are scheduled everywhere. Sun is shining. We are headed out to spend the day with my sisters. We don't get together often, so will be nice to just sit and visit and catch up. To my friend Clara in Texas, happy 4th Missy, lots of fond memories of the 4th of July for us! Love ya. Today's card is the water colored roses from Stampin up. So fun to do. Have a safe and happy holiday. Thanks for stopping by. Until later......

Tilda Bakes an Apple Pie

Hi, It's finally Friday! Quick post because it's late. Today's card is for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge. It's Tilda with a pie. You were to use a combo of two colors and I chose brown and blue. I created a pocket with the brown paper on one side of a 6x6 card, then placed a recipe for an Applie Pie in the pocket. The sentiments are Posh, from the kitchen set. Tomorrow is the holiday and we are driving about an hour away to visit with my youngest sister for the day. Will post in the morning for the 4th of July. Have a safe holiday whatever you do. Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............
