BUTTERFLY

Good Saturday Morning.  Snowing again and cold here after a two day respite.
Temps are down again and winter driving skills are needed!

Just before Christmas, I purchased the Gemini Jr. during all the hype on HSN.
I really didn't need another die cutting machine, but the lure was it was small, electric, and
could be used right on my work table instead of having to get up to go to the back room
of my two room stamp room to cut a die.  It came as a bundle with some beautiful dies.
I am loving the dies, the machine, not so much.  This is one of the dies that
came in the bundle.

BSS IDEA - WINTER SCENE DIE

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF WEEKLY IDEA.

Cold enough for ya?  WOW, we turn our heat down at night, and the kitchen floor has been
so cold in the mornings, we have adjusted how much to turn it down.

I feed the squirrels and birds, and they have been coming in flocks to eat.
Even a bunny or two has been visiting to eat the seed on the ground.

Supposed to get more normal this week.  Keep warm and cozy.

This weeks card is made with a beautiful winter die.
I cut the die out and colored some things, and paper pieced behind
the lights, the windows, and the mountains and ground.

Then I cut a piece of glossy card stock and sponged it with distress ink,
stamped the snow with white pigment ink and set it with a heat tool.
I placed a small circle on the paper before I started to ink it to form
a full moon.I then adhered the sponged piece behind the die.

Die - Amy Design - Village Frame Straight ADD10121
Paper - Royal Blue, White and Glitter White Cardstock

Inside

Snowflake die is Martha Stewart.

Keep warm and drive carefully, stay safe.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later....

BSS IDEA - No Man Like A Snowman

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Happy New Year.  Wishing you a happy, healthy 2018!

Seems like I just got the house decorated, cookies made, house cleaned
and food prepared and it is all over.  We had a wonderful Christmas
with loved ones, hope you did too.

How about this cold snap we are having!  Well, the snow and cold
is always good for building a snowman, right?

So, this weeks card features a card with a sweet snowman.

Stamp - Stampingbella, Frida Loves Frosty (eb580)
Paper - White and blue pearl finish card stock.
Die - Amy Design - Ice Crystal Circle (ADD10110)
I fussy cut the circle out of this die and left only the snowflake circle
I used  a snow writer around the snowman and sprinkled it
with sparkly white glitter.
Embossing folder - Sizzix Tim Holtz Texture Fades (661008)
Background snowflake embossing folder
Colored with Copics

Off to pour a glass of bubbly to welcome in the New Year.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Until later....
