BSS MONDAY IDEA - BUNNIES, FLOWERS AND CHCKS - THINK SPRING

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Monday Idea.

Everyone you have a conversation with  for the past few weeks is so tired

of the cold and snow.  So, I thought I'd make a card that screams SPRING

for this weeks idea!

Sweet stamped image, flowers, bunnies and chicks!

Base card is 51/2 by 41/4 inches

To form card, cut card stock 81/2 by 41/4 inches,

fold in half, then fold the front of the card in half

toward the first fold.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Snow and more Snow

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA. 

Hope everyone was able to dig out and stay warm these past few days.

This has been some winter!  I know we are all looking forward to

Spring this year, but seems like it is a ways off yet.

This week's card is of a beautiful stamp I purchased at BSS last week of

a snowy scene of a cabin the the woods.

Remind you of our snowy weather this winter?

Base card is 5x7 inches white card stock

Layers are navy and forest green with white between each layer.

Tabs are made from a strip of the green card stock with rounded

corners, or you can leave them square.

Stamp is from Impression Obsession (J7763)

Deer Trio die is Memory Box (98166)

I used a snow writer from DecoArt to add snow texture to

the trees and ground snow.  Then while still wet, added

white glitter.

Colored with Copic Markers

Hoping for a warm up this week and some melting, running out of 

places to put the white stuff.

Hello friends.  It is downright freezing here.  Ran some errands today and stopped in at my favorite stamp store for some goodies.  Going to be below zero with the wind chill factor for the next few days.

Made this card with a new stamp I purchased at Stampendous.  I have this stamp from years ago, but it is smaller and the scene includes another book on the table with a little bird sitting on it.  I always loved this stamp and when I saw the kitty up closer, just had to have it.

Stamp - Stampendous, inside sentiment (Whipper Snapper) and sentiment on front (Stampa Rosa) are old. stamps.

Bow die is Tim Holtz Alterations by Sizzix

Embossing folder frame is also by Sizzix

BSS MONDAY IDEA - ALL GLITTERED UP

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea. 

Today's idea is one last Valentine and this one is all glittered up!  Gotta love that bling!

Card base is white card stock 5x7 inches

Silver, white, and red glitter paper is docrafts

Papermania, which is the only glittered paper I

have had that cuts die cuts perfectly!

Cascading Hearts - Spellbinders (S4-457)

Inside die - 5x7 Enchanted Labels 28 (S6-003)

Inside sentiment is a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

that I did on word and printed out.  I found the poem online

just by googling the title.

Hope you get your Valentines finished up this week in

time for the big day.  I am wrapping 25 Hershey bars in Valentine

designer papers, for my daughter's 1st grade class.

Silver glitter mat is 43/4x53/4 inches

The white glitter heart die cut is backed with a red glitter piece.

I popped up the little cherub and his arrow.  Because

I was adhering them to glitter paper, I put Tombow glue (green cap)

on the pop dots that would be against the glitter paper.

HERE'S MY HEART

Hi friends, hope everyone is keeping well and warm.  We have about 10 -12 inches of snow on the ground and it is piled everywhere.  Below freezing temps too.  So, have stayed snuggled in and warm and stamping.

I pulled the drawer full of Magnolia stamps out and went through the Valentine ones to make some cards  for some of my little friends.

Oh goodness, I forgot how cute these little ones are.
