I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking a few years ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.  I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

BSS IDEA - Paws-A-tively Wonderful Holiday

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Hello Friends.  Did you catch the video from Saturday at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  on facebook?  Well in case you didn't,

Sharon and Mark were rearranging, the store around

to accommodate the Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and

Christmas upcoming holidays.

So, because I was in the store this past week, I shopped

some of the stamps and stuff and bought some holiday 

stamps.  Hence todays Christmas card!!  Never too early

to start your cards if your going to make them. And I could note wait to color up these pups and kitty.

BSS IDEA - FOR THE BIRDS

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Another week.  I have been busy making masks.  Lots

of requests for kids going to school soon.  I also have

made some with a vinyl window for my daughter who is

a kindergarten teacher so they can see her smile when

she talks to them.  

My garden is loving all this hot weather, I have tomatoes

galore.  What we can't use and what I don't give away, I have 

been cutting up for soups and sauces this winter and freezing.

This week's card.

Bird Stamp - Impression Obsession-(E19968)

Little birdhouse shape - Printworks Creative Shapes

Background paper- Sunshine Pad,, Joanna Ossowska (6x8 sheets)

I ran the little birdhouse through the Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder

I colored it with the broad end of a copic marker, leaving some areas lighter.

I cute the roof out and ran it through a diamond embossing folder.

Added a piece of black paper behind the opening of the birdhouse.

Added a 1/2 piece of black across the birdhouse for a perch for the birds.

Popped up the birdhouse, popped up the birds on the birdhouse.

Added some stickles around the bird wings

Fussy cut the birds out and adhered them to the perch,.

These little birdhouses are such fun.  And the quirky little birds are too.

BSS IDEA - Fabulous Fairy

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Another Monday morning.  Looking forward to

some cooler dryer weather, at least for a couple

of days.  I am so in need of a cleaning out of my

stamp room, but with the heat just don't have

it in me to start.  Hopefully this Fall.

This week's card

Stamp - Molly Harrison Art - Sultry Sue. Set includes The Fairy image, 8 sentiments, and two

additional flower stamps.  I love to color, and this stamp was pure joy.  They look intimidating,

but they stamp up beautifully and each envelope has a full color print of the image on the cover.

Inside sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion older set.

Paper - blue violet card stock, silver mirror card stock

Die - Spellbinders  5x7 Elegant Labels 4 (S6005)

Colored with Copics

Wink of Stella

Small iridescent dots (they sparkle in real life, but not so much in photo.

I added the Butterfly, a small older wooden stamp.

I can't wait to get another one of these beautiful Fairy stamps!

BSS IDEA - Blue Pickup Truck

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea

WOW, amazing how quickly the week has passed considering that we are still mostly staying around the house.  Finally got out into the yard to do some weed pulling, since the temps dropped some for a couple of days and made it possible.  My garden is thriving in this heat, I have tomatoes like never before.  They will be good in soup and sauce when the cooler weather comes.

BSS IDEA - EAT DESSERT FIRST

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF DEA.

Even though we are staying home mostly, it seems like the days and weeks 

are passing quickly. I am keeping busy in my craft room, making masks,

catching up on new hints on Ancestry with the many family trees I am researching, and

of course, cleaning cooking and the laundry.  I would like to be out in the yard

more, but it has just been too hot, and redheads with light skin don't do well

in the sun!

This weeks card

This set includes 13 clear food stamps, and 4 sentiment

stamps.  The inside sentiment is one of them. 

The punched bottom of the inside insert is an old 

Martha Stewart punch.
