hit the craft stores and my local stamp store. Yikes, more stuff! Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC21)(www.priscillastyles.blogspot.com). I chose to do a Halloween card. The stamp, Love Potion No. 9, is a PSX. The papers I used are Martha Stewart and K & Company Halloween. The corners are a punch by Paper Shapers. The bat is a sizzix die, the spider a Martha Stewart punch. Don't you just love that song Love Potion #9, almost as good as Monster Mash!!!! Need to get my fall and Halloween decorations out. Have been dragging my feet on carting them up from the basement. Leaves are turning and falling now, have to net the pond over the weekend.Flowers are starting to go because of the cool nights. My niece who lives in Vermont emailed me yesterday and said the leaves are at peek color already. Have a great day. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow.....................

I Missed You
Sweet Hello
Hi. It's Terrific Tuesday. Last night I took a ride to one of those off price places near my home and got some stamping goodies cheap. Had Martha Stewart, Heidi Grace, K and Company. Was fun milling through the stuff for bargains. Today's card is for the Penny Black Challenge. The challenge was a color challenge. You were to use Lemon, Pink and Chocolate. The flowers were in patterned paper and I punched them out with a scalloped punch. The corners are a sizzix die.
Hope you have a great Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow.........

BSS-MONDAY CHALLENGE-USED TORN PAPER
Hi. Happy Monday! It's the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Challenge. Today's challenge is to use torn paper on your card. I had this beautiful cherry paper from Magnolia and believe me it was hard to rip it! But, once I got going I liked the results. I torn the paper randomly and distressed it with distress ink by ranger. I layered it on my card. I chose to make the card out of the same paper, but you could use different papers as well for a different look. I rolled the edges in places and in others, I pinched the edges up with my finger. The cherry frame is by Hero Arts. Tilda is sitting pretty in her cherry dress up top. Words are My Sentiments Exactly. Leaves are by Prima and I used little heart shaped buttons. The little gingham bows are by Maya Road. Pearls are Kaiser. I used diamond glaze on the buttons and the large cherries. Hope you have time to try this technique, it's kind of therapeutic! Have a great Monday. Until tomorrow...........

Autumn Leaves
Hello. Blessed Sunday. Today's card is my Design Team Member entry for this weeks Magnolia Down Under Challenge. The challenge this week was to use buttons on your card.
Since I took the class in brayering at my local stamp store, I thought I would try a Tilda using this method (Michelle Zindorf's signature method of stamping). I stamped Tilda with the leaves swirling around her. I colored her using Copic and Tombow markers. I then used an embossing pen and went over all the coloring then used clear embossing powder to seal the color. Now comes the brayer part. I did the ground and the sky with the brayer. I stamped the tree in black and sponged in the horizon lines . The three maple leaf buttons on the left are actual buttons that I strung gold cord through. The four faux leaves on the right were made from punches! Yep, this technique was highlighted on Split Coast Stampers last week. You just punch 5 or 6 shapes from cardstock. Glue them together. Make your button holes. I used my crop-a-dile (thanks Sis) and it went through all the layers. Put one coat of diamond glass on the top layer to make them shiny. You can also make round buttons and stamp something on them. This is a really clever idea because you can make any shape that you have a punch for!
Stop over to the MDU Challenge site, and check out the other gal's cards, a wonderful assortment of takes on this button challenge. There is also a sponsor this week, Scrapbook Boutique.
Have a great Sunday. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow..............

Warm Heart
Hi. Hope your Saturday was good. We went this morning and ran some errands, stopped for a quick lunch afterwards. Was a beautiful morning, with a little ran in the afternoon. The temps are going to go down to the low 40's next week at night. It's definitely fall. We have two big chestnut trees in our front yard and the kids are collecting the chestnuts already. Today's card is a House Mouse Design. I made the card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge. The challenge was to use stitching on your card. I used faux stitching. I don't very often use purples, but I like this bright lilac colored cardstock. Hope you had a great day. Thanks for stopping by for a peek. Until tomorrow...............

Happy Birthday Honey
Hi. It's finally Friday! Hope you're looking forward to the weekend. It is going to get a lot cooler here this coming week. That's okay with me. I received the little honey jar stamp in a box filled with goodies from my Stamping friend in Arizona, Cathy. Thanks Cathy, I love it. I ran out tonight to AC Moore and Joanns. Just needed to get out for a little bit, didn't buy much, in fact gave some of my coupons to a lady in line with me. Hope your Friday was great. Thanks for stopping. Until tomorrow..............

Sweet Baby in the Snow
Hi, happy Thursday, one more day before the weekend! Today, my daughter's first grade class is walking to the local Farmer's Market. They will be able to purchase pumpkins and other seasonal fruits, like apples, peaches, etc. She takes a little wagon to haul the loot back to the school. She has 24 children this year, so it should be quite the adventure. Today's card is another one I made with a digital image by Mo Manning. I am totally hooked on her drawings.
She is a children's book writer and illustrator and has branched out to digital images for crafters. She is also contemplating having some of her images made into stamps. This baby in the snow is so beautiful. Have a great day. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow...........

Ducky Day
Hi. Rick's cousin was in town for her High School reunion and had dinner with us last night. Was good to see her (she lives in Florida) She and Rick have a lot of good memories because she and her sister spent many family holidays together with Rick and his three brothers when they were young. Our daughter Heidi and her family came for dinner, as Pat had not seen Heidi since she was a child. Turns out that Pat's first teaching job was at the same school that Heidi now teaches at. She returned home after spending a week visiting family and friends in the area. She said she has eaten her way through Western New York, taking in all the things that she misses living in Florida! Today's card is for the Penny Black Challenge. Thanks again Pauline for this adorable image. The challenge was to use pearls and lace on your card. The words are a house mouse design. Hope you had a great Tuesday. Until tomorrow................

BSS-Monday Challenge-Make a Fall Card
fall card. I have used a stamp from Impression Obsession. The inside greeting, not shown here is by Great Impressions. This is a pretty simple card, but this stamp is so darn cute, you kind of need to high lite the image by keeping the card simple. Hope you're inspired to make a Fall card. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow.............

A Mother's Love
Hello. Hope your Sunday was grand. I had to clean today, as I didn't do it the rest of the week, and my husband's cousin is in town and coming for dinner tomorrow night. Wow, it sure gets dusty and dog haired when you don't vacuum for a week!!! Today's card is a digital image by Mo Manning (www.digitalpenciltoo.com). Can you just feel the love between this Mom mouse and little one. I colored with Tombow and Copic markers. Words are from a cuddlebug die cut. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow.......

Skate like nobody's watching.....
Hello. Today was Michael's big day. Kid's party at Chuckie Cheese early in the day and family party for dinner. He loved all his gifts and he actually loved the card I made him. He's looking forward to coming home from Church tomorrow and having a quiet day at home playing with all his new gifts. Today's card is my first attempt to make a card from the class I took on Friday.
We actually made this card in the class, but I goofed mine up by stamping the trees over too far and they were in the moon. So today I started over. I tweaked it a little by changing the trees and stamping the branch over the moon, but other than that it is the design of Laura who taught us the Michelle Zindorf style of stamping. The skater is a new Christmas stamp by Penny Black. All of the tree stamps are by Stampscapes. I love the peacefulness of this scene. Thanks again Laura, I am enjoying experimenting with this style of stamping so much. Hope your Saturday was great. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow..................

Reading to my Brother
Hi, it's finally Friday! Took a class at my local stamp store. One of the gals took a class from Michelle Zindorf this past summer and taught Michelle's style of stamping using a brayer. Loved the class and the cards I made. Will post one tomorrow, have to put the card together. Thanks Laura at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, great class! Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC19) The stamp used is Stamps Happen. Isn't this an adorable stamp of a little girl reading to a little boy? I used Lyra Rembrandt colored pencils and a blending pencil. Hope you have a great day, thanks for checking in today. Until tomorrow.......

Riding the Waves
Hello, and happy Thursday. Today's card is for my grandson's birthday party on Saturday. He is nine. This picture was taken at Hershey Park last year when we took them on a short vacation for 4 days and this was one of our stops. It's a ride that simulates surfing. If you tip sideways, you lose the board and you get sucked back up to the top. They had a ball on this ride. I cropped the picture to take all but the water and Mike out, so it looked like he was actually in the ocean. He's going to love this, what kid doesn't like to see themselves in print!
Isn't that sentiment just too cute. I bought it unmounted at convention and don't know who made it, sorry. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow............

House Mouse Challenge, White on White
Hi. Took the day off yesterday from posting to tear the stamp rooms apart and reorganize. What a mess, there is only one solution. Stop buying more! That said, I got a new cartridge for my cricut called A Child's Year. I LOVE IT. It has a lot of children in sillouette, very detailed. Will be sharing some with you soon. Today's card is for the House Mouse Challenge this week. They are celebrating their one year anniversary. So the the challenge was to pick one of the 52 previous challenges and make a new card. I chose the White on White challenge. I used the cuddlebug embossing folder for the pumpkins. The big pumpkin is from the new cricut cartridge mentioned above. The Boo is from a cuddlebug embossing folder also. And that darling little mouse looking through his goodies is from House Mouse. Hope you had a great Wednesday. Happy Birthday Michael, WOW 9 years old! Can't wait for the big party on Saturday. Until tomorrow....

BSS-Monday Challenge-Monotone Card
Hi, Happy Monday. Today's Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Challenge is to make a Monotone card. That is making a card using just one color family. I've used a striped paper and turned it both ways for added appeal. I embossed the image panel with the music cuddlebug folder. Didn't have the right color Kaiser pearls, so I took the white ones and colored them with a copic marker to match. They dry almost instantly. Martha Stewart border punch used on small panel. Flowers are by Prima. Stamp credits: Minstrel, Judi-Kins, sentiment, Hero Arts, inside sentiment, not shown, Angel's Attic. Hope you have time to try this. Until tomorrow......

Gift Tag - Magnolia Down Under Challenge 22
Hello, It's Sunday and it's time for the Challenge at Magnolia Down Under. This challenge is to make anything but a card. I decided on a gift tag for this adorable little metal bird cage that I bought at Michael's on clearance. I filled it with candy then made my gift tag to match using the Magnolia Tilda with birdcage stamp. The little vine on the birdcage is also made by Magnolia. The second picture shows the package wrapped with the gift card attached. The papers I used, are new from Magnolia and I love the cottony feel of these beautiful papers. Go visit the Magnolia Down Under Challenge site (there is a link on the right) and see the beautiful projects the design team came up with. And we have a sponsor for this challenge offering a great prize, so why not get in on the fun and create something and link it on the site for a chance to win. Go check it out! Until later.................

Deliver the letter the sooner the better
Hi, Happy Saturday! I ran around and used my coupons for Michaels, AC Moore and JoAnns today, it was a marathon! I even ran into the Christmas Tree Shop, only it looks like the Halloween Shop. Today's card is for the Penny Black Challenge. Pauline sent me this darling little image awhile back, thanks Pauline. The challenge was a sketch challenge. I'm here to tell you I had a lot of different circles and papers before I finally settled on what you see! Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow................

Light My Fire
Hi. Feeling a little off today, a stomach thing, hope it's short lived because I sure vegged out today. I decorated this little candle. Susanna Boyd did a tutorial on Paper Craft Planet and put out a challenge to decorate a candle. Also, Simon Says Stamp challenge is Oriental, so I decided to combine the challenges. The little Asian couple are a Hero Arts set. Have a great Friday. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow......................

Megan Reading.......Again
Hi, just thought I would share this card I made with a digital image by Mo Manning. She is children's book illustrator who is now selling digital images for card and project making. This image is currently free to download on Paper Craft Planet. Look under groups, chose Digital Pencil Too, and look for the discussions marked freebie. There are several free images available for download. She has some really wonderful drawings of children. This image reminded me of my granddaughter Megan. She is always reading something. Have a great day. Until later...............

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Hello, hope your first day after the long holiday was a good one. I spent the morning cleaning and dusting through. Was a beautiful day, so felt obligated to pull some weeds in the yard in the afternoon. Despite the heat of the day, the nights are cooling off and there is a definite fall feel in the air. Today's card is for the House Mouse Challenge. The challenge was to create something based on the title of a song. What fun this was. I started by checking out all my house mouse stamps and when I came across this little guy, I decided on Take Me Out to the Ball Game. I printed the sheet music out from online (for free). I made it a lot smaller on my copier and tore around the edges and distressed. The circle behind the image I drew lines on and stitching to make it look like a baseball. The stars are stickers. Paper is from Nana's kids. Thanks for stopping by. Until tomorrow..........................
