SNOWBUNNY

Merry Christmas to all my blogging friends.
We had a wonderful Day with family.

What was your favorite gift of the holiday?

Mine is a hand-carved rubber stamp, made by
my thoughtful, beautiful and talented Granddaughter.

Megan is in her third year of College.  She is majoring
in Art, and wants to be an Art Teacher.  She is hard
working and has set goals for herself.

So yesterday morning I got up went up to the stamp room
and inked up the stamp she made me and created a card.
After many interruptions, I finally finished it.

Close-up of the bunny making a Snowbunny.

Thank you Megan Himes for this awesome stamp you created.  Now Nana has
a one of-a-kind Stamp in her collection!!  AND I LOVE IT!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.

WOODY

Well, I am almost ready. I have wrapped, decorated, and for two days now
baked and cooked for Christmas Eve.  Such a busy time, but also
so much fun.

I thought I would show you a card I made for my Grandson for Christmas.
I mailed it to him, but didn't here back from him.  Busy Busy.

The stamp is called Woody, and it is one of Stampendous' Curio stamps.
The background threes is from Whimsy and is a Dove Craft Design.
Glitter paper for the snowy bottom and sponged in the background sky..

Close up

The pup in the front seat actually looks like their rescue dog Lily.

Our pup let us take her picture in front of the Christmas tree today
with a Santa Hat.  It kept falling off, but we pushed through and
got a picture.

Good Girl Keeya!

That's all for me today.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by.

Challenge #281 begins today at the

HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS MONDAY CHALLENGE

This is our last challenge for 2018
returning from a Holiday Break on Monday
 January 7, 2018

***********************************
ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
***********************************

I made four ornaments using the Stampendous miniature clear stamps
that you can only get at a Stamp Store.  And the Angel is from a
Christmas Clear set from Stampendous

Christmas Tree with Angel - Ceramic tree purchased at Hobby Lobby.
I inked the tree with Green Oxide ink let it dry for awhile, then brush
clear tacky glue on the entire tree.  I then sprinkled some sparkly glitter over
the entire tree and let it dry.  I colored up the Angel after emobssing it in
gold embossing powder and fussy cut it out.  I used pop dots to adhere
to the mouse, but I used a hot glue gun to adhere the pop dots to the tree
as the glitter on the tree would not allow them to stick.

Mouse in Santa hat - I filled the acrylic bauble with fake snow, and colored
up the cute little Santa Hat Mouse with Copics, then die cut the image with
a circle die from Gina Marie. Adhered the circle to designer paper cut from
the next largest die from the same set.  Adhered to the bauble. Bow and tag
with sentiment that came with the stamp added.

Candy cane mouse on snowflake- This was a glazed ceramic snowflake
that I have had in my stash, purchased from one of the big box craft stores.
I inked half the snowflake and added clear embossing powder.  I heat the
embossing powder, but you must be careful, as the ceramic gets hot, so
you can only do half at a time so you can hold onto the ornament. I colored
the image with Copics, added pop dots and used the heat gun to attach to
the glittered snowflake.

Mouse with Antlers on mitten - This is a wooden ornament.  I covered it
with designer paper, cut a piece of brown corregated paper for the cuff
portion of the mitten, inked the recessed parts with a darker brown marker.
Colored the image with Copics, fussy cute it out and adhered it and the sentiment
to the mitten.

"Ugly Sweater Contest" at Stampendous

Good Morning Stampers.  I am participating in the
Stampendous Stamps Ugly Sweater Holiday Challenge.
We used the Cool Penguin stamp and die set to create our projects.

Stampendous will be giving away 3 Cool penguin sets
randomly drawn from the comments on all posts during the challenge
which runs from November 25th to December 8th.

Then between December 9 - 11,
you will have the opportunity to vote on your favorite designer.
So check out the Stampendous Blog between Nov 25th and December 8th
and leave a  comment on their blog and the designer's blogs.

This is my final project for the Ugly Sweater contest.

I used a large clear acrylic pillow box (have had them for a long
time ordered online)
First, I filled the box with star light mints, and yes, I am eating
the ones that would not fit in the box.......ugh!

The little penguin's sweater and hat were colored with
copics, dotted with liquid pearls white, and added
ball trim was glued to the sweater, and one for the hat.

The snowflake sticker border piece was glued to the
bottom after I wound silver and white bakers twine
around the box several times and tied a bow at the top.
Used a couple of the snowflakes on the end of the
ties.

I'm afraid he is too cute to enter the contest at
the Ugly Sweater Contest at the party.....

I had so much fun dressing these little guys and
girls over the past couple of weeks.
Thank you Stampendous Stamps for
the opportunity.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.
Until later..........

I made a gift bag, so pretty in pink.
I cut out a tree shape from card stock and
trimmed the edges with green stickles
I colored up the sweater and hat and used
clear embossing powder on them both.
Using the same green stickles I used on the edge
of the bag, I outlined the neck, cuffs, waist band, and
brim of hat.
I also dotted the sweater and hat with the stickles.
Then mounted this sweet girl onto the middle
of the tree with pop dots. The sentiment is
from the stamp and die set also.

Added plastic snowflakes that I had inked with pink
Oxide ink and glittered.  The sentiment was stamped
on a pink card stock oval that I ran trough a
snowflake embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.  Until later...

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Many thanks to our Generous Sponsors for their continued support
