ATC Swap Entry

I friends, hope everyone is keeping warm.  This winter has been so cold and snowy.  Today we are getting rain, everything is slushy and dripping.

I just wanted to share a quick post with you.  I made these ATC's for a swap.  Haven't joined a swap in years, but was nudged into it by the gal running the swap on SCS.  It's the ATC's Ultimate Varieties.  So many different categories to choose from and you have until April 5th to get them to the swap Organizer by.

I made a gatefold ATC with the adorable stork and baby feet from Magnolia.
I also used an action wobbler behind the stork, so when it moves it looks like
he is coming in for a landing.

Have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by for a peek.  Check out the ATC Swap
on SCS.  Until later.................

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Acetate Jars

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Have you had a play with Acetate lately?  Me either.  But this stamp set
just screamed acetate to me, AND it is a Valentine set, so since we are into February already, seemed like a perfect time to showcase this wonderful set.

This set by Taylored Expressions has six stamps, three word stamps
and the jar, the hearts, and x;s and o's, AND a die to cut out the
stamped jars.  That's where the acetate comes in.  I cut the jar die out of acetate
so they looked like glass jars.

The finished card.

The inside.

Card Recipe
Stamps and die - Taylored Expressions (TEPS85)
Light blue textured paper base card 41/4 x 51/2
Front of card and inside bottom of insert run through a
Sizzix heart scroll embossing folder.
Hearts stamp from set stamped on red, pink and purple card stock
with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
Shaded hearts with copic markers
Stamped the jar image on white card stock and shaded with light blue Copic Marker.
Cute jar die from Acetate.  Glue hearts onto stamped die cutout.  Adhere acetate
over the jar with hearts. (I used Tombow, Mono Multi Liquid Glue). I just dotted
the glue at the top, bottom and on each side, just six small dots in all)
Border lace punch, Martha Stewart, sponged with light blue dye ink.
Red and White bakers twine
Preserves stamp from set, edge colored red
Inside, Sentiment from same set, stamped in red on Spellbinders
Fancy Tags Two (S5030)

This is a fun little set and the possibilities of what goes in the jars is endless.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later...................
