Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA

Hello friends.  Hard to believe that July is coming

to an end in just another week.  

Have you been watching the Olympics on TV?

Have watched quite a bit of it here.

This week's card

The flower die is Gina Marie Designs

Light Blue Cardstock  41/4 x 5 1/2 inch tent fold card

Designer paper that flower die is cut from is Craft Consortium

6x6 inch Ink Drops-Vivid Pad .

I cut the stems and leaves from green card stock and

shaded with a Copic Marker and glued them in place

over the ones cut from the main die.

I covered the entire die with Wink of Stella and it looks

beautiful, but hard to photograph.

The butter fly die is from an older spellbinders die set

which I cut out in yellow glitter paper and vellum and covered

the vellum with gold wink of stella..

Inside sentiment is Altenew (ALT3201) and says

"In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND"

BSS IDEA - Christmas in July

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hello friends, another week has passed,

and  a very wet one it was.  Lots of flooding

and damage all around us.  Our yard had

standing water where the neighbors driveway

sits higher than our yard and there is always

runoff when it rains.  AND the pond filled

up right to the top and over.  Good thing we have

small boulders instead of flat rock around the

entire pond, or we would have had goldfish swimming

in the grass!!

This week I thought we would celebrate

Christmas in July with the super cute

stamp set from Colorado Stamp Co.

called Christmas Presents (AJ392)

The sentiments  used on the card came

from this set also.

I colored with Copic Markers and used

various inks to ink the backgrounds.

Lots of  Stickles, but hard to catch on

the camera.  These sweet images by Children's book Author

and Illustrator, Anita Jeram are so very endearing

and fun to color too.
