Thanksgiving possible under the current circumstances.

We will be getting some snow in our area this coming

week and the temperatures are cooling rapidly.

Did some online shopping for Christmas this past weekend

now to hope that it all arrives on time.

BSS IDEA - 'Tis the Season

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA

Hello to everyone that didn't blow away yesterday!  How about

that wind?  Hope everyone remained safe and no power outages

or tree limbs down.

This week's card

No stamping!

This beautiful design is an embossing folder from

Crafters Companion 'Tis the Season (5x7 inches)

(GEM-EF5 3 D-TS)

I ran a pink pearl piece of cardstock (5x7 inches) through

my machine to emboss it.  Trimmed 1/4 inch from one 5 inch

side and 1/4 inch from one 7 inch side.  Mounted on a pale pink 5 x 7 inch

card base.  I colored the image before mounting it.

I used a green and white gel pen and the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch 

pen on the leaves and words..

For the inside of the card, I used a beautiful piece of paper from

the Prima Sugar Cookie Paper Pad.  I love that it is all pastel Christmas

paper and they are beautiful.  The jolly Santa that I used on the inside

of the card is my favorite, but they are all wonderful.

The green glitter die plate on the inside is Gina Marie Designs

The Word die is Impression Obsession (Die236N)

BSS IDEA -Red Pickup Truck

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Idea.

How about that gorgeous Sunday weather! I finally

got to get into the yard and cut back all the dead plants, dismantle my summer pots, and rake some leaves.

And all this in short sleeves in NOVEMBER!

This week's card

 

A new card design for me.  It's called a tent card.

Stamp Set - Truck Load Die Set, Stampendous (DCP1019)

includes 19 pieces, including Fall and Christmas items

to include in the truck and sentiments.

Background stamps are Impression Obsession Slim Scenes, Clouds and Large Tree-lined Hillside Duo

Designer Papers are from Graphic 45-Christmas Time Collection.

White card stock and green glitter paper.

I cute two 3 inch by 12 inch strips from the two 

designer papers in the package.

Fold in half and crease with a bone folder.

Insert the one you want to use on the inside

with glue.

You will need two die cuts,  1 for the front of 

 the image, and one for the inside.

Glue the inside die centered.  Close the card

and glue the front die, onto the front of the card

using the inside die to position it in the same place

on the front.

You can adjust the size of the card strips

to make a 41/4 x 5 1/2 inch card by cutting

the 2 strips at 3 inches x 81/2 inches.
