Soccer Grandson

Hi everyone, WOW, are we experiencing heat!  Could get a couple of 90 degree days.  Today

is supposed to be 87 and the Buffalo Bills are playing football here today!  What we used to call Indian Summer.  But, we should enjoy it now, because before you know it we will be shoveling snow.

I made this card for my Grandson, who turned 17 recently.  He is a soccer player, both indoor in the winter and outdoor in the summer and he also is a referee as a part time job for soccer games.

Christmas Stand Up Card

Hi Friends.  Have heard from a few blogging friends that weathered Hurricane Irma in Florida last week and so happy to hear that they are okay.  Praying for those who have lost everything and are trying to put their lives back together, cannot even image the stress they are going through.

I've made a Christmas Stand Up Card with some adorable snowmen.

OH NO, forgot to color his nose and rosy cheeks!

Stamp Set (including both sentiments - Inky Antics Sweety Snowman #1 (10913LC)

Background paper from my Stash (old)

Snowflake die - Sizzix, Tim Holtz (14 different snowflakes in the set)

Snowflake Centers - Want to Scrap

Snowflake Border - Martha Stewart Punch

Candies were cut from a piece of designer paper and coated

with WOW clear Sparkley embossing powder

Card is cut from Kraft

Card is 6 x 12 inches
Folded will fit into a 5x7 envie

Scored at 2 inches, and four inches on either end

The two inch score lines are Valley folds

The four inch score lines are Mountain folds

Mark down from the top of the card on either end 3 inches

Line up the three inch mark with the four inch score line

at the top and cut

Fold score lines and decorate.

Did you notice that the little snowman

with the mug had no rosy cheeks and his carrot

nose didn't get colored?.  I have since fixed that

but didn't want to retake the pictures!
