HAPPY HALLOWEEN

JUST WANTED TO WISH YOU A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

My final Halloween card, OH NO, I still have stamps I haven't used....
Stamp - Impression Obsession
Paper - Debbie Mumm
Cute pumpkin - Michael's
Candy Corn Border - K & Co

This is for my Grandson.  I bought the paper mache coffin at Michael's.  I covered the lid with black paper and painted the bottom black.  Stamped skeleton on top and added some stickers and fun embellishments.  I slipped an itunes card into the middle of some candy inside.

This bag is for my Granddaughter.  The bat is cut from sparkly black glitter paper.  Bought the bags at Big Lots...cheap.  Inside is a matching box decorated with a bat border by K & Co.  I also slipped an itunes card in the box with her fav candy, peppermint patties.

Have a safe Halloween, happy trick or treating.

TOO CUTE TO SPOOK

Hi, hope your Thursday is going well.  About a week and a half ago, my new Grand Caliber broke.
I was devastated, but after contacting Spellbinders, they said there was a problem with the very first ones made with a gear that was not strong enough.  They had it picked up by UPS and said they would fix it and get it back to me as soon as possible.  I am still holding out that I will get it this week.  I miss it like I can't believe, nothing else cuts like it does.............

Today's card is for the challenge at Penny Black and Friends Saturday # 174.  Haven't entered a card in a few challenges, just a time thing, I love Penny Black stamps.  The theme for this challenge is " Too Cute to Spook".

BSS MONDAY IDEA - SIDE SPRING CARD

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today's idea is a Side Spring Card.

There is a great tutorial for this card at

Just a few score lines and folds and you can create this cute design.
I have to admit that I had trouble with the final fold at first, but there is a written tutorial and a video, so after watching the video twice, I easily finished the card up.

It also made a very tiny card, so I adjusted the measurements as follows:
Use a piece of card stock 6 x12 inches
score at 3" on the short side
turn and score at 3" and 4 1/2 inches on the long side

My card Recipe
Stamp - Stampendous - Cling - Owling Good Time (crm261)
(Do you see hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil???)
Paper - My Mind's Eye - Haunted
Punch - EK Success
Black Stickles
Inside sentiment - Inkadinkado (97-186DD)
Colored with Copics
Spider - Martha Stewart Punch
Hope you have a chance to try this card design.
Have a great Monday.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - ADD TEXTURE TO COPIC COLORED IMAGES

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today's idea is to add some texture to your Copic colored stamped images.

I colored the pumpkins with Copic Markers, then went back in, using the clear blending marker, made dots on one, stripes on the other, and diagonal lines on the last. Just make the dots or lines and keep going over them until you get the desired effect. Kind of a cool way to add interest to a small stamp like this pumpkin.

The inside of the card.

Card Recipe

Paper - base card - Bazzill dotted Swiss
Designer paper from Generations 6x6 stack from Simple Stories
Stamps - Pumpkin, Hero Arts Bold Pumpkin F5461
Sentiment - Impression Obsession - B5586
Dyed twine - From BSS
Corner Punch turned sideways - Paper Shapers
Kaiser Pearls
Pumpkin Border Punch - Martha Stewart.

Give this little trick a try, adds some interest to your cards.

NOTE: If you don't have copic markers, try coloring a stamped image with pencils or water based markers and using a darker shade to add dots and lines for texture.

Thanks for stopping by today, Hope you have a Monday.  Until later..........

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CANDY

Hope you had a great Thursday.  I have spent this past week since Monday in the basement, hauling out Fall/Halloween decorations, box after box.  I went through it all and decided what was coming upstairs and what was going.  The bay window is full of beautiful scarecrows, leaves and lights, along with pumpkins, black cats, and sunflowers.  The hutch in the dinning room is loaded with beautiful pumpkins and wonderful statues of kids trick and treating.  The rest of it is going.  It's amazing how much "stuff " you collect over the years.  Now my next task is Christmas............that will take more than a week!

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea, a
Fall Wreath Card.

( click to enlarge to see sparkle)

I made this card with the Tim Holtz Alterations die by Sizzix. It's 12 inches long and cuts
a lot of different Fall leaves, branches, acorns, etc. I ran it through with all different Fall colored papers then just cut a three inch circle with a circle die/or punch and cut the middle out. Then I just layered different pieces on the circle. I used a glue gun, as it sets up very quickly. The wreath went together pretty quickly and didn't take a lot of planning, just chose different shaped pieces and different colors as I went around the circle.

Card Recipe

Papers - Card Base, Coredination Flower Power
Designer paper Basic Gray
Corner Dots - Candi by Crafty Works Cards
Inside Sentiment - Inkadinkado
Spritzed the finished wreath with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls
mixed with water in a mini mister.
Chocolate Brown Satin ribbon
Inside leaf border, EK Success

This is a great Fall die. A border would be another fun project for a card.
So many elements on one die.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great Monday
