Let Heaven and Nature Sing

Hello Friends.
I hope everyone was able to celebrate Christmas around the restrictions
of Covid and stayed safe.  It just was not the same for sure.

But on the bright side, we welcomed a new baby girl to our
family through our Godson. She is precious and such
a Christmas blessing.

I'm a day late this week with my card for my local stamp store
due to the holidays.

This weeks card

This beautiful stamp is from Woodware - (JGS727) Musical Deer
I stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed
with clear embossing powder.
Using brushes and various die ink pads I inked the music,
moon and trees along with the base snow by the deer's feet.
The frame die is by Gina Marie Designs and was made by
cutting two dies, one that is the closest to the size of the image,
and the next larger one outside the smaller one and cutting
them at the same time.

I used the matching circle die set for the inside and an old
sentiment "Let Heaven and Nature Sing" on the inside of the card.

It's a beautiful stamp and the price point on the Woodware Stamps
is wonderful!

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a good week
Happy New Year
May 2021 be good to us all.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.  I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.  This has become my second addiction and have never looked back.  I love making new images and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue.

A BIG thank you to ALL our generous sponsors for your continued support  throughout 2020

DEAR SANTA

I friends, I've kind of been MIA this past two weeks.  Been getting my Christmas cards out, and wrapping my Christmas Gifts.  Because of Covid, I did a lot of shopping on line and I think
I have now received and wrapped most all of it.  Now to clean and decorate the house and
tree...

I recently purchased a couple of digital images from Louisa Lowry on Etsy (My Life In My Craft Room) and have had them colored up for awhile now but have not posted them so here is
the first one.

I love this Santa.  I have colored him with copics and used flower soft on the
brim of his hat and on the tassel.  The pretty background paper is from
PT3 from Poland.  Gold Glitter paper and a red card base.

When our daughter was about 3 years old we took her to a large Department Store
in our small city to see Santa.  She wouldn't go anywhere near him as much as
he tried to assure her.  On our last try to get her to sit on his lap for a picture, he
said to her "your Mom Susie sat on my lap when she was little like you"  To
This day, I do not know who was behind the Santa beard!, True story.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great rest of the day.
Until later....

BSS IDEA - Acetate card Front - Choir Kids

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hi friends. Are you all getting ready for the Holidays?  Trying to
finish my shopping so we can decorate and make cookies.
Did a lot of shopping online this year so that we didn't have
to go into the busy stores.  Our area has been hit hard since
Thanksgiving with more Covid cases and hospitalizations.

This week's card

Stamp - Choir Kids-Penny Black 30-755
Paper - The Four Seasons, WINTER P13 from Poland
Sage green card stock, embossed with a Crafter's Companion
snowflake embossing folder.
Acetate sheet 4/1/4x51/2 inches
Oval die-Spellbinders
Colored with Copics

I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch top folded card.  I cut the front of the
card off at 1 1/4 inches from the top fold crease.

I attached the acetate to the underside of the 1 1/4 strip at the top.

Cut a 1 1/4 long by 1 1/4 inch wide piece of white card stock to glue
to the back of the acetate to hide the glue when the card is opened.
Add a strip of designer paper 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/4 inch long
to the top and bottom of the card.  Add a white strip at the bottom
inside like you did at the top to hide the glue.

Add your image to the center of your card, I popped mine up.
Make sure you choose an image that will fit between the
top and bottom strips  Cut a piece of coordinating card stock
for the inside of the card.  A sentiment can be added to the
inside, behind the outside image so you don't see it when
the card is closed.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a good week.
Stay safe.
