BSS IDEA - THAT'S HER RIDE

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Idea.

Finally some sun after so much rain!  All the plants are popping up

in my yard, and the fish in my pond are swimming around near

the top, and not only did they all survive the winter, but we have

spotted a baby, which was probably born in late Fall.

This week's card is a simple design of a very girly bike.

All in pink with a basket of lovely flowers, who wouldn't want

to peddle around on such a pretty ride.

Note:  I stamped the basket of flowers a second time

and colored it up and fussy cut it out.  Then just popped it up to give

the card added dimension.

BSS IDEA - Little Red Wagon

made of metal or wooden with slates?

Today's card is the metal version of what was popular

long ago.  Now they are all plastic and have cup holders and

seats!

EASTER SURPRISE PACKAGES

Finishing up my Easter crafts.  I have made these wonderful envelope gift holders before

for Christmas and birthdays since.  

These Easter envelopes hold a chocolate bar and cash!
You can make them smaller by using a smaller square piece
of card stock, for cash or gift cards.

And I am positive that my little friends are going to love them.

These are made from one 12x12 sheet of double sided paper.

MY SLATTED BASKET

Hello, hope everyone having a wonderful day.  

I finally got to make a Slatted Basket this week, and I thought I would show it to you.

It was fun to make and would be a perfect little gift filled with whatever

suits the reason for the the gift-giving.

Since we are so close to Easter, I placed a small fuzzy chick and some sparkly eggs

in mine.

I used one sheet of 12x12 paper for the box base

1 Sheet of 12 x 12 paper for the slats

White card stock for the scalloped border

Ribbon for a bow

I cut everything out before I started so I could just

assemble the basket all at once.

EGGS IN THE GRASS CARD

Hi friends, a damp and dark day with rain today.  Good time to catch up 

with stamping and coloring. Need to get my local Easter cards in the mail.  

The card for today was made from an old stamp from Creative Impressions, which

no longer makes rubber stamps.  I love this beautiful stamps and every time I

color it up, it is so much fun.

Beautiful papers are from Fawn Lawn, Perfect Plaids, love these too.

BSS IDEA - Coloring on Black

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Monday Idea.

This weeks idea was to color a stamped image on black card stock.

Stamp - Stampendous - Hummingbird Blossom (LBCR003)

Stamped with white Brilliance Pad, and heat set.

Colored with Prisma Color Pencils

Went back over some areas with a white Gel Pen

Yellow Stickles and White Liquid Pearls on flower center

Used a Cuttlebug embossing dot folder to emboss the front

of the card.

The purple mat is cut from a Grand die by Spellbinders

and embossed with a Cuttlebug Anna Griffin EF.

For the inside I used the same stamp stamped in white and

the sentiment.

Try coloring on a dark card stock for a different effect.

BUNNIES

I was playing around in the stamp room yesterday with some cute little papercrafts I found on 

Pinterest.  These bunnies were made for three little friends of mine, who will surely enjoy the

treats inside.

It uses the Top Notefrom Stampin' Up  die but you could just as well use an oval or square. and various circle, oval and heart punches.  The box between the two top note dies is an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch piece of paper.  Score on both sides of the 81/2 inch length at 1inch.  Score the shorter side at 3 1/2 and 5 inches.  Cut up to the 1 inch score lines where they cross the 3 1/2 and 5 inch score lines on both sides.  Fold all score lines and tape sides together to form a box 

And, of course add a fluffy tail to the back when finished.
