Hi friends.  Did a little Christmas shopping this past few days.  Surprised how busy the traffic and stores are already, but there are a lot of sales around.

CHRISTMAS HORSE

Making more Christmas cards.  Yesterday, I purchased some Chrissy Armstrong, Whimsy Digis. I 

have some of the actual stamps, I love this artist.  Her animals are so adorable.

My niece bought a horse this past year, a long time dream come true.  I tried to make the horse 

the brown and white like her beautiful Willow.

I colored with Copics

Snowflake dies are Martha Stewart, I used two and layered them.

BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Did you put an extra blanket on your bed this past weekend?
I got the down comforter on there and we were toasty warm.
Guess it's inevitable that it's going to get colder, but sure
seems like a surprise when it does!!

Speaking of colder....here is my card for this week!

Stamp and Die set - Polar Bears (CLD07) Stampendous
Background is done with Distress inks and sponge applicator
Stars which are included in the set, stamped with Versamark watermark ink
and embossed with white embossing powder.
The bottom of the card is embossed with clear sparkle WOW embossing powder
but doesn't show up in the picture very well.
I adhered the Mama bear to the card directly, and the babies I
popped up.
I colored the polar bears with Copics and cut them out with
the die that was included in the set.
Matted with a purple sheet and mounted on a light blue 4 1/4x51/2 inch
card.

Dancing Ballerina

Good Morning.  Hope everyone is doing well this COLD Sunday Morning.

I purchased a couple of the die sets from Uchi's Designs.

They are unique and eye catching.  I made this card

for a young lady celebrating her 11th birthday today and

she is a dancer.  I'm sure she is going to love this card.

I had hoped to show you how the ballerina dances but my video

doesn't play for some reason.

I tried to follow the directions for making one of their cards, but

I didn't like how it looked when finished and it was too 

complicated to do.  So I made this one.  It doesn't open 

like a regular card, but I added a white panel on the back

with a birthday message and a pocket for a birthday cash gift.

You have to have the grid to make the cards, but they are now

selling small dies to use with the smaller stamps like butterflies

to make your own grids.  I'm sure they will be making new

improvements to this system, but still, it is a lot of fun

and who doesn't love cards with action!!

Christmas Panel Pull Out Card

Hi friends.  Today was the second and last leaf pickup in our area.  This time I raked them to

the street.  I was out there again for three hours, and the chestnut trees are about 3/4 dropped.

We are going to be in the 20's come Friday, so that should do it.  With a frost, the leaves will

completely fall.  Bumper crop of horse chestnuts this year, deer and squirrels love them, but not

edible for humans.............

I found the design for this card on SplitCoastStampers.  It's called a Panel Pull Out Card.

It's fun to decorate with all the panels.  I made mine a bit bigger than the directions

so it would fit into a 5x7 inch envie.

Lots of die cuts and scraps of Christmas paper I have kept in a tray, hate

discarding pretty paper scraps.

BSS - Christmas Baubles

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  Do you make them year round

so that you are ready when you need them?  I have a zillion Christmas

stamps, and love everyone of them, but never seem to get enough made

to send to everyone on my list, So this year I am trying to get them

made a few at a time so I have enough.  The other thing is designing

them so that you don't have to pay extra postage on them!!

Christmas Doves

Hello, hope your Sunday is going well.  Was out all day yesterday shopping, grocery, then my niece called and wanted to know if I wanted to go for some retail therapy, and of course I did.  Was nice to shop with her for her little Grandkids for Christmas and I picked up some things for myself. 

I am trying to make Christmas cards that will go through the mail without

having to add a ton of postage.  Got four new dies from Tutti, a new brand

to me at Bitsey on line.  Here is one of them.
