BSS IDEA - I'll be Gnome for Christmas

Happy belated birthday to Sharon.  I had intended to get up

Friday morning and run up to the stamp store to see her, but

my back was hurting, so I had to postpone my visit. We are

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. BSS IDEA - Pinecone Christmas

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Idea.

Wow it's getting dark so early now.  Worked in

the garden Sunday morning, cutting down the

Annuals and cleaning out all the potted plants.

Hauled the cushions for the patio furniture to 

the basement and stacked the furniture to cover 

later this week.  Loving the cooler weather,

but not looking forward to what comes next.

Speaking of what comes next, I have a Christmas

card for you today.

Pine Cone image - Colorado Craft Company

Big and Bold - Pine  Branch & Pine cones (BB264)

Papers - Green and white card stock

Red mirror card stock

Designer paper is Simple Stories-Country Christmas Pack

Sentiment is a sticker from the paper pack.

I colored the image with distress inks.

I first stamped the image with Versafine Black ink.

Then embossed with clear embossing ink.

I colored the pine cones with a Copic E31

I then used a blending tool and Vintage Photo

to darken some areas of the pine cones

I used Lucky Clover distress ink with the

blending tool all over the pine branches

I then cute out the bottom of the pine cones and

around the pine branches.

Made a very pretty card and it didn't take forever.

I did pop up the image with foam tape.

BSS IDEA - Ghost Pups

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Wow, October is just zipping by.  I have been

 making some Halloween cards to send to

 my little friends in our family.

 Need to get out in the yard and start

putting the patio furniture away for the winter, and close

the pond, already too cool at night to to feed the fish anymore.

You don't really ever need to feed them, they can survive

and thrive perfectly off the pond plants and nutrients.

They will winter under ice.  The oldest one in our pond

is 10 years old, and two new little fish were born this year.
