It's Fall Y'All

On to November.........Halloween trick or treating was a bust here.  Only a couple

of kids came to the door.  I'm glad I got to make stuff for my daughter who teaches kindergarten, treats for their Halloween Party.

October seemed to speed by, and now we are looking at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Fall is in the air here, and it has been raining like crazy for days!  Not much of 

an Indian Summer, but tonight they said early November is going to be better.

BSS IDEA - Holiday Stamp Camp

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

On Sunday, I attended the Holiday Stamp Camp at the store.  It was a

birthday gift from my sweet niece, which she attended with me.

We made so many beautiful cards, with so many wonderful ideas and

stamps and dies.  Sharon's team at the store did a fabulous job of

putting the kits together too.  

Sharon gave me permission to show you this card.

The die cut of New York State is adhered to

a red square panel which was embossed

with a snowflake pattern, then mounted on

a square white mat.  The red heart was 

placed where Buffalo, New York would be

and the die cut sentiment glued to

the designer paper below image panel.

Sharon also wanted me to tell you that

she has the die for  Ontario, and Pennsylvania.

This makes such a fun card to send to friends who

have moved from the area or out of town friends

or relatives.

LETTERS TO SANTA

Hello friends.  Hope everyone is off to a good week.

I recently purchased some digi's from the new release at Whimsy Stamps.

I am just now getting around to coloring them up.

I love anything by Chrissy Armstrong!

This sweet digi of the little girl is running off to the post office, I imagine

to get her letters to Santa in the mail.

I remembered that I had a paper pad from the Paper Studio that I bought at

Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago with the envelope background and thought

it would be perfect if I could find it.  Well miracles do happen and I did.

Poinsettia

Hi friends, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.  It was a wet day here, and

the day I chose to do some running around!  Oh well, got some nice bargainsm used a gift

card I got for my birthday for some new clothes,

 and enjoyed my shopping trip out of the house.

I made this card using a wonderful large stamp by Stampendous called

Poinsettia Collage.

I stamped it with Versafine clear ink and embossed with silver embossing 

powder.  I stamped the area with the Poinsettias again and embossed, then

colored them, cut them out and popped them up on the full sized image.

Sponged lightly around the edge with a light blue ink, added the silver ribbon

and mounted on a red mat onto a white card.  Yellow stickles was added

to the centers. What a beautiful image.

Oh! Christmas Tree

Hi friends, turning colder around here.  Leaves are just about at peak for

Fall colors and some of the scenery is breathtaking.

A Christmas card for today.

I made a folded Z Card.  Then I embossed the front fold with

a snowflake embossing folder.  I used the Swiss dot embossing folder

 on the panel  behind the gold panel.  The Christmas Tree is from Crafters

Companion and you can just cut it into the paper like I did here

or you can cut it out.  I backed the tree with Gold Glitter Paper.

The beautiful inside designer paper is Kaiser Craft-Peace and Joy

six inch paper pad.  Snowflakes are Tim Holtz Alterations by Sizzix.

With Gold Mirror Candi centers.

I cut several out to make a different look on cards, will show

you that at a later date.

As you can see it is a beautiful tree die.
