Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

Wet, windy and damp today, so not expecting

much trick or treating tonight.  We usually

don't get many trick or treaters as we live on

a corner and there are only 4 houses on the

street where our front door is and they 

don't want to bother. 

I sent a small box of treats and fun stuff to

my nieces children in Arizona.  Her husband

sent me a private video of them in their costumes

with the cards I made them and the treats I sent

on a table in their backyard.  Was so good to 

see those little faces and hear their voices, miss

them.

Pumpkin Patch

Hello Friends

Has turned cold and rainy here, so spent the day trying to clean up

the stamp room.

Took all the potted plants apart outside and covered all the

patio furniture, but too rainy for the past week to rake

all the leaves that have fallen.

I have a sweet card today.

This  pumpkin patch little girl has found her pumpkin

and now to carve it out for Halloween tomorrow!

Bewitching

Hello Friends

I'm making Halloween cards like crazy.  Using some older

stamps that haven't been out of the drawer in a long time.

And some new ones too.

The lovely witch stamp is unbranded. The owl on the branch is Lavinia.

 The rest of the stamps are older ones from my stash.

I colored with Copics and sponged the background.

Here Comes Santa Claus

HELLO FRIENDS

Warmed up a bit today, so we decided it was time to bring in the

summer cushions and store the patio furniture.  Rick raked up

chestnuts and leaves and I power washed the front side of the

house.

This delightful holiday Digi is from Jan's Digi Stamp Sets 

It was so much fun to color up this sweet Santa.

The background paper is an older piece of designer paper and

the red cardinals are from a die from Gina Marie Designs.

The "stuff" I used for the white trim on his hat and sleeve cuffs

is new to me, called Fluff it paste, from Pink Ink Designs.  You put

it where you want it then heat with your heat gun and it puffs up.

I have been making so many Christmas and Halloween cards!

Bio 

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Snowman Selfie

Hello Friends

Weather is sunny and a bit cooler today, just right

for a beautiful Fall day.

I have a super cute card for today, it is

a digital image of snowmen (I do love a snowman)

taking a selfie!

I did the sentiment on my word program on my computer.

Simple card, but just seeing those smiling faces all jolly, makes you smile.

I bought a second one of Gnomes taking a selfie, so cute in the process of 

coloring it up.
