Hi Friends, hope all is well, and back to normal after our long weekend here in the U.S.

We had a quiet weekend, redoing our living room completely, so boxing up the "stuff" we

don't want.  Furniture is sitting in warehouse, waiting for the carpet to be delivered and installed.

Forgot how much work all this is and we were a lot younger the last time we did it!!!

The inside

Today's card is a cute fold and I love the image.

Stamp - Whimsey Unicorrn

Sentiment is old

Papers are old, 

Aqua and white cardstock

The card fold is made by scoring an

81/2 inch x 11 inch sheet of card stock at the half

way mark on both edges (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches)

After scorning, place the sheet in your paper cutter

diagonally from corner to corner.  'That is it

now you have two cards ready to fold and crease and decorate.

The mats can be made the same way as the card, then just

trim 1/4 inch off the first one and 1/2 inch off the second,

or whatever measurements you choose.

Adhere half your image to the left side.  If you colored with

markers that show through, remember to put an extra backing

on this piece as the back will show when the card is opened.

Place a sentiment half on the right side, this will insure

that the card will stay closed.

BSS IDEA - THREE PART BUNNIES

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hope you are enjoying a long weekend.  I planted flowers, a few vegetables and more flowers. I always buy way too many flowers, they are all so gorgeous when you go to the nursery.

In the process, it was discovered that we had a nest of baby bunnies in the yard, and guess who discovered them.....yep, our dog!

Poor things were scared, even though all she did was smell them and looked at us with such pride that she had found them.

So, today's card is so appropriate, don't you think!

I'm planting a small garden this year, have not had a garden in many years.

My best friend helped me today to make an above ground planting bed

and get it ready for planting.  Just doing tomatoes, green pepper and cukes

BSS IDEA - BEST FRIEND

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Moms, hope your day was

special.  Had brunch with our daughter and her family.

Today's card involves some easy sponging to create a

simple scene.

Stamp - Penny Black-Gentle Thoughts (30-485)

Sentiment - Stampendous - Dog Sayings (SSC1223)

Paper - White, Orchid card stock

Die - Spellbinders circle nestabilities

Stencil - Tim Holtz, Layering Stencil, Speckles (THS021)

Various distress inks

Colored with Copics

Card base is 5x12 inches, tent fold

Cut the circle from the front of the card

On the circle, I 

Sponged the water, clouds and sun using

the edge of a torn paper towel, and part of a

circle cut out for the sun.  Sponge upward

over the paper towel or the partial circle.

Made some white caps on the water with

a poster paint pen.

I cut another piece of card stock the same size as

the card front 5x6 in. placed it into the inside of

the card.  I then inserted the sponged circle 

back into the front of the card so it is adhered

to the piece you inserted inside making sure

to line it up. Then, simply adhere the insert

with the sponged circle to the backside of the 

front of the card.  I cut a frame for the front

using the same circle die and the next smaller one.

Pop up the dog and girl image onto the card.

Added the speckles with the stencil for some texture.
