BSS IDEA - A KISS YOU CAN'T RESIST

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Wow, last day of July already!

I am loving the new stamps from Stamping Bella called Squidgys.

This one is so darn cute.

I fussy cut the image out.  In doing so, there were hearts hanging from

a string that was just too small to cut out, so i recreated it with

string and little hearts from punches.

Inside sentiment is old Inkadindado Stamp.

BSS IDEA - Beautiful New Die Cut

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

I purchased the Sizzix Die I used in today's card thinking I would make a pretty multicolored background using my

distress inks and the sponge applicator.

Die - Sizzix 661800 (Tim Holtz)

Instead, I ran the die through my cutting machine

twice with black card stock. I then cut a piece of

white card stock slightly bigger than the die and

taped one of the die cuts to the white card stock

with removable tape.  Then, using my Copics, I colored

in the spaces on the die cut like you would a stencil.

When I was finished coloring, I  removed the die

and sprayed the colored image with perfect pearls

mixed with water in a mini mister. (Gold).

When it was dry, I adhered one of the black

die cuts over the colored image.  The other black

die cut, I cut out the bird and the flower at the top

right and popped them up over the original.

Adhered to the Aqua card, added the black stones

along the edges.

I loved the die when I bought it, but I really loved the finished

card.  Hope you do too.

BSS IDEA - SUCCULENTS

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Hello.  I have a fun project that I made yesterday for you this week.

Was in the store on Saturday and picked up the Sizzix Die Set, Succulents (661933)

There are six pieces in the set.  I made two each of the succulents included

in the set and made a little box garden with a wood slatted box that I had kept

from a gift I had recieved.  Was a fun project to put together. Hope you like it.
