WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.
Hi everyone, as promised in last weeks post, I have a cute little
Valentine card that you can make up lickity split.
I found the instructions on youtube by Jennifer McGuire HERE
You will need a small piece of tulle material for this idea.
I used a piece I bought at JoAnn's a long time ago that
has silver glitter squiggly lines on it, but Jennifer used
just a white piece on her example. It is very inexpensive
and I love the idea.
Here is my card
Close up of window
The inside of the card.
Stamp - I Love Us - Penny Black Forever and Always clear set (30-401)
Dies - Penny Black Kitty Love (51-407)
Heart die - Spellbinders Heart nestabilities
Punch - Lace border Martha Stewart (I used a Versafine pen
and a ruler along the edge of this die then embossed with
Silver embossing powder
Paper - Red White and Light Gray Cardstock
Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug hearts
White embossing powder
A piece of Tulle big enough to cover whatever shape
you make your frame from.
Just make sure you leave enough room at the bottom on the inside of your card when
cutting out a frame so you can sign the card on the right side and it won't show through the window.
The only thing I did different from Jennifer on the video was I placed
my red mat on the card front with some low tack tape, then cute
through both the mat and the card front at the same time so I was
sure they would match up perfectly.
You could also use acetate or vellum in your frame for the same
effect.
Hope you will try this card, I am always looking for something new
to try and I loved how this turned out.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a Happy Valentines Day
