BSS IDEA - INTO THE WOODS

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Happy Labor Day.  Summer sure left in a hurry over the weekend, right?
Did your furnace kick in?  Ours did not, but I read friends posts on facebook that
said theirs did.  Hope you are doing something fun today to celebrate this
last holiday of the summer before you return to your regular routine.

Today's card is another Penny Black wonderful scene stamp.
The card was hard to photograph and is so much prettier in person.

Stamp - Penny Black - Winter's Forest (40-581)
White and light blue card stock
Die ink pads (distress inks), Marvey brush markers
Stampendous - Chunky white embossing enamel
Snowflake embossing folder
Gold stretchy string bow
Finished card is 5x6 1/2 inches

Using the Misti, and the ink pads and brush markers
stamp the scene on smooth white card stock. You can epeat
this step several times to get good coverage.
Using a darker color brown, ink just the trunks and branches of
the trees again.  Without removing the stamp, clean it thoroughly
then stamp with Versafine watermark ink and stamp the
image again.  Remove the stamped image from the Misti and
emboss with clear embossing powder.

Using a sponge applicator, add color to the background as desired.
When you are happy with the color background, rub the entire image
with a paper towel to remove any ink on the embossed  trees.

If desired, sprinkle the chunky white embossing  emanel randomly
around the image and heat from the BOTTOM, otherwise it will just
blow right off your image.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later....

Hi Sue, Lovely card.

Weird weather here today as temps getting to 22, but it's dull and at the moment raining.

Hope you have a good start to the week. Sue

Melt my heart gorgeousness, Sue! Your scene is amazing! Thanks for taking so many photos. I enlarged each one to take a long look. Again, the amazing colors of vibrance, like Nature bedecked in jewels - but they are so soft against the white snow. Your snowy scene is beautiful. As for the weather, I guess Autumn is on its way. It is nearly 9AM and it is still in the 70s in the shade, but in 15 or 20 minutes, I imagine it will turn 80. LOL What Floridians long for in Autumn is the drop in humidity. Thanks for the amazing inspiration this morning, my sweet northern friend! hugs, de
