Power Poppy Challenge

Hi friends.  I recently purchased some new digi's from Power Poppy.  Love these images, and my local stamp store carries her stamps, so have some of them too.  After I got one of the images I bought colored up, I decided I would join the current challenge for February.

Up for a Challenge?

Here is the card I came up with, using one of the new digis I purchased.
So hard to capture sparkle on a card, but the pink die cut background
is cut from glitter paper, and the hearts on the socks were coated with
Stickles, candy apple red.

close up of image.

Dies - Background die is Spellbinders
Stitched Oval die is Gina Marie
Corner - LaLa Land
Paper - Michaels
Bow - Hobby Lobby
White card base is 5x7 inches
Colored with Copics

I made this card for a Valentine for my BFF who lives in Texas (I am in NY).  We met when we
were both young wives of husbands in the Army on an Army Base in California. Being far from home and all alone, we spent just a few months living next door to each other, but
have remained friends for all these years.  We both feel like fate put us together and
we have nurtured this friendship and remained grateful.  So....when I saw this fun
image and the saying was perfect, I had to make her a Valentine card.

I'm entering into the

                                                                     Love/Sparkle theme

Power Poppy - Hues to use
(White, Pink, Red)

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later.....
