BSS IDEA-Santa Gets Framed

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family.

Did you go out into the Christmas Shopping madness?  I did not.  I used to
get up to get to the stores for certain toys and games, but those days are
over.  I did run out later at night on Friday to get a new game for
Christmas Eve, but by then the crowds were over and I just zupped in
and out quickly.

Well, in the spirit of the upcoming visit by the man in red here is
this weeks offering.

Close up of stamped image.

Stamp - Santas Pick up - Stampendous (CRR274)
Paper - Gold Mirror Paper
Snowflake Dies - Penny Black
Red Pearls - Kaiser
Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder
Sponger Snowbanks
Colored with Copics
Stardust Stickles
Liquid Pearls-White

Cut a piece of the mirror card stock to fit
the front of your card.  Center a die that is big enough
for your image on the mirror card stock and cut.
Place the frame you created in the embossing folder
and run it through.  Adhere your stamped image
so it is centered in the frame.  Adhere the framed
image to the front of your card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day
Until later.........

Hi Sue, Another lovely card.

Very wise to wait for the crowds to die down and then nip out for the game.

Hope you have a good start to the week. Sue

This is striking, Sue. I love that particular embossing on that gold mirror card stock and the image is just precious, colored to perfection. The bright white snowflakes are such a great final touch and really bring everything to life. I may have missed some posts as two computers in this house died within two days of each other so I apologize for that. Hope you have a good day.

In the event that you can give for building toy blocks various surfaces - unpleasant and smooth, level and furrowed - then all the better for your kid's investigation. Interestingly, the toys can connect with his feeling of touch on various levels.
